4th race--Ferndale Sal and Pistol Creek are the ones to beat

i would throw Nick Hines horse out immediately-he puts horses in over there head way too much for me..

5th race-Wide ass open in my opinion

Full field and this is a race where a longshot has a chance to hit. How many do you throw out in this race?

6th race is wide open also. Do you throw any of the 1st time starters in there?

Good idea AG, although, personally I wouldn't single a 2yo MDN claimer. Stute has a hidden entry here with the 3 @10/1 & the 5 @5/1. I'm leaning toward the #5. Both Marques entries will probably go with Espinoza pushing the pace from the 9 hole. Sherman may try to wire it with the 32K claimer and a 7lb weight break. Good thoughts, back to the books. Love Sherman's style. The rider scares me.

Why does Sherman go to the bug boy? Doesnt anyone else want to ride this horse? is the word out the horse is crippled and he cant get a decent rider on this horse?


Classy Dish has comes close to winning but dont think i would back him..

5 horse field and im having trouble throwing out some of these horses..


Can Buckland Manor run on dirt and go short? he would probably be the 1st one i would throw-but this is his 3rd start off the layoff and that is usually a horses best race.

Can Dry Your Eyes be a single?

Valley Storm has better Beyer Figures out of anyone in the race.



Thats just a walk thru for me Dan-i will go back and really start handicapping and start tossing some horses.

In a race like this(2yo-mile1/16) they want every edge they can get. He still goes for 32K and Sherman has a good rep. If he goes to the front, Sherman will tell the kid not to fall off. He's probably the only 7 pounder on the lot. The #s 5 & 6 have 5 pounders on them, so if you think the kid just has to ride(front), go for it.

O'Neill said in the racing form that the only reason this horse is in the race is because the racing office begged him to enter to make the race go. He just raced 2 weeks ago and how much did that race take out of him?

Last year a horse ran 3rd at Delaware on Thursday and second on Sunday at Philadelphia. He's got Espinoza and again and 4lbs
Here's how I see the 5th in the perfect world. #10 w/Baze leads past or to the stretch with #5. 5 goes to the wire with the 7. So far I'm going to use 5/7
