5dimes wagering rules for soccer matches..."Matches abandoned before full time is completed will be graded no action."

Monday (12/7) match between Clyde and Livingston. Had the over 2.5. Was 2-1 in 54th minute. Match was abandoned due to fog. Played again 12/9, started from beginning, new match. Finished 1-1. 5Dimes graded my over 2.5 as a loss, instead of "no action" as stated in their rules after my bet had been pending for 2 days, my bet on the 12/7 match.

I have been given smart remarks and no help by customer service and "Tony" who claims to be the wagering manager.

Little do they know, they just made a $33 wager into a potential lawsuit. Luckily I documented the wager history and conversations to go along with the stated 5dimes rules. And I have nothing but time on my hands.

Silly customer service, potentially big payday.

Sorry this part made me laugh.

I hope you get this taken care of. They are a sponsor here.

I'm guessing you are a young guy and just making comments based on your emotions. It's cool I've done it. We all have but thinking a $33 wager is going to be a "potentially big payday" makes me laugh.

Too much Wild Turkey tonight.

I'm a young attorney, true. And by "big payday" I mean much more than the $33 I had wagered.

My point here is the clear violation of their stated rules, there's no gray area, and I have the time and resources to make this a profitable pursuit for me, so I will.

If there's one thing I learned and been taught so far in my young legal career it's that any case is worth pursuing, and it will usually be settled before it becomes too much trouble.

But I do appreciate the laughs, it is a bit of a silly issue.

I have to disagree with you Perry Mason. The gray area is sportsbetting itself. If your in the states, heck if your not in the states this is laughable at best Matlock. But good luck with your case, Jack McCoy. If you can prove without a shadow of a doubt negligence then Judge Wopner, Judy or Ito might take the time to hear you out.

If I were you I'd contact them again, then if that doesn't work e-mail Jack.

Case Closed.

I do not see any record of the game played on 12/7. Although Tony is hardheaded if he is wrong, he will correct the mistake.

You will sue over a $33 wager? Good luck with that. Please be sure to give us a daily report on it. I will be sure to place a $1 bet on every event going each day so I can get a big payday when something is graded wrong.

Bottom line, it's just bad business, and terrible customer support. The rules apparently are only applicable at "Tony's" convenience. What a joke.

Have you talked to Tony? Send him that link and their rules link.

It looks like it should be ruled in your favor. I cannot see this being a problem especially with it being a $33 wager.

I chatted with customer support for an hour. Was told to email info@5dimes.com aatn: Tony. I did, explaining the grading error and asking it to be fixed, waited 3 hours and resent the email.

I then chatted for 10 minutes, when I was finally transferred to someone supposed to be "Tony." He asked what the problem was. I told him I had emailed it twice, and explained it in length.

Excerpt of chat with "Tony"...

Tony: don't have time to read an e-mail you don't have a capability to copy and paste
Tony: good luck to you in your further life's adventures
Me: I have sent it twice, I should not have to explain it again.
Tony: well, i guess you do
Tony: but if you don't have the time
Tony: neither do it
Tony: *neither do i
Me: Fair enough.
Tony: spank me daddy
Tony: anything else before you go?
Me: Not from me. The more you have to say, the more I'll listen.
Tony: then blue balls it is
Tony: have a good evening

Seem like someone you wanna be doing business with? I asked time and time again to have it corrected, I sited the rules clearly stated on the 5dimes rules page, and this is the response I get.

I've had plenty of baseball bets canceled when I had won the over and rain caused the game to be shortened and the bet to be graded as a canceled play, those are the rules stated on 5dimes, I accepted it then. But this is just wrong.

5dimes is a joke.

Also, I had a rolling bet off of that soccer for the Packers on MNF, after the soccer was graded as a loss the Packers bet showed up as "no bet" in my transactions history. After chatting with customer support for an hour and getting nowhere, I reference my transaction history to get the ticket numbers to include in the email, and the rolling bet was gone. Hmmmmmmm.

First, why would you not copy and paste the information one more time? Did you ever think that he has a lot of emails and did not read it yet?

Second, I highly doubt he wrote "spank me daddy" and "blue balls"

If 5dimes is a joke then move books. I am sure there are several books drooling over your $33 dollar wagers.

I told him to reference the email because I did not believe I was speaking with "Tony" or the person I needed to speak with. And if it was "Tony" he would have the email, know what I was talking about, and be able to fix the error. After telling him to reference the email and getting the crude responses I did it furthered my suspicion that I was not talking with someone in charge. A "boss" would not treat his customers like that.

At this point it's not about the bet, it's about the shitty way I was treated and the run-around I was given by 5dimes. Who knows who I was talking to. I did all they asked, wasted several hours documenting the error and chatting and sending emails, and this is how they treat me?

I even told him I was saving the conversation for future reference and possible legal action, and he responded with "spank me daddy". Does that sound like someone in charge and a boss?

I do not believe the spank me daddy part but apparently you have never dealt with Tony. He is very hard headed.

I am looking for a book who offers hoops and CFB totals the quickest.. The 2 that I have don't post totals until an hour before tip sometimes.. I was told 5 dimes was good for early totals but I don't want to deal with some "hard headed prick" either.. Have to go with BetJamaica

You will never have to deal with Tony unless you have a dispute against something even then Jack or IE can probably intervene.

I am sure this matter will be resolved.

If they are treating you like that, switch books. If someone talked to me like that, I definately would never bet another penny with them.
