Randercity: I know Jack doesn't like people posting email addresses in here so if you wanna contact me to go to a Dodgers or Angels game, use "benjamiller" for AOL instant messaging or use "nick_douglas" for MSN messenger.

Apologies for the late play again.

OAKLAND +115 over Seattle 400/460

Nelson, Charlton, Rhodes and Sasaki have all struggled recently out of the bullpen. That is the first sign of a good team going on a cold streak. I will ride it here.

YEAH, who knew that the pesky SD PADRES would have taken ALOT out of the SEATTLE bullpen in the last series...

Maybe this is another night with too much action. We shall see.

Boston -290 over TAMPA BAY 400/138

Yeah, the price is steep, and I don't recommend paying 2.9x your normal wager to get down on this game, but it is just a crime not to take advantage of Pedro pitching against these guys for a small amount of money. This is just a total mismatch through and through.

For those of you who like value, look at it this way: Would you give the Sox a 75% chance of beating the Rays with Pedro vs. Sturtze in Tampa? I would. If you would too, then there is value in any line you can get under -300.

Philadelphia -120 over PITTSBURGH 408/340

I placed this at WSEX and you have to call to be exactly $400 on a line like this so I just went for the closest number I could find.

Person has been decent, but the key here are the smoking hot Philly bats and a Philly pen that finally is coming back to form. Anderson has turned things around for Pittsburgh but I see this as too big a mismatch for him to overcome.

2-2, -322 today

I dunno really what to day about today. A loss on a ding dong with two out in the ninth and another loss with a six run lead blown. Maybe I should take some time off.

i was really surprised to see you lay all that wood tonight. i guess the boston scare was an eye opener, wasn't it? you bet pedro, but pedro doesn't always go 8 or 9.

we touched on this subject earlier, where boston's record with pedro as a starter was much worse than his actual w-l percentage, although i think it has improved lately.
