First of all, my thoughts are with Darryl Kile's family after today's unfortunate news.

No plays for me today but here are a few notes I came up with on some possible games to look at today. Good luck.

-Colorado came back from down 7-3 in the ninth yesterday to win in extra innings, so take a look at Tampa today. I have noticed on a number of occasions that when a team seems to have control of a game and then they lose it, the next day they often win. Also, check out RAYMOND's post in the forum about a trend supporting Alvarez.

-The White Sox may be a play to look at as well. Yesterday they fought back all game to tie the contest late, only to lose it in the bottom of the eighth. I have noticed that when teams make a stirring comback but fall short late, they often come out strong the next day. White Sox also outhit Atlanta 9 to 3 with Glavine going, and Moss throws a similar style so the Sox should tag him today.

-Milwaukee was crushed yesterday but only outhit by one and they managed six hits in the last two innings, possibly indicating some offensive confidence for today. Milwaukee has been known to really struggle against lefthanders but with Jenkins sidelined the dynamic of the lineup changes somewhat. Cabrera looked stellar in his last start so the Brewers may be an underdog to keep an eye on.

-Only a handful of top pitchers go today after the last two days have seen aces aplenty on the hill. Games have been going under at a staggering rate lately. Perhaps it is the weather, as I have noticed that some games in California have been the victims of thicker air which helps pitch movement. One thing that is for sure is that at some point scores will shoot up for a day or two and money will be made betting overs. I find it interesting that of all of tonight's games just two feature a total above 9.
