Milwaukee -118 over PITTSBURGH 400/339

It is a risk to lay wood on a team that has lost three straight but Wright has just been super recently. The Milwaukee pen has had their problems but last night they were great and most of the guys like Leskanic, Meathers and King got needed rest. Milwaukee has the lineup advantage as well so I give them the nod.

Detroit -111 over KANSAS CITY 400/360

Terrible loss last night for Detroit so you can bet Doug Jones will not be given the ball. Detroit's bullpen is deeper so Jones' loss will not hurt as much as KC probably shying away from Hernandez. Weaver had a rough outing recently but he is a tough kid who is capable of shutting down an average lineup like KC.

Ugly morning. Nothing to do but bounce back.

Tampa Bay +180 over BOSTON 400/720

Boston used their bullpen too much *again* yesterday so we should see plenty of runs from Tampa. Can Tampa hold down Boston's offense? Well, Wheeler and Phelps are still available and Kennedy has pitched well so they have a good chance. Also I like coming right back with teams after they win for me the day before.

Oakland +130 over SEATTLE 400/520

Sele struggled his last time out. For some pitchers those are aberrations but a lot of times the pitcher will go in a 2 or 3 game funk. Nelson has not looked as filthy lately so Oakland may be able to get runs late as well. Zito finally is looking strong again and the Oakland bats heating up is what I really like here.
