Solid point but I think this excuse only goes so far. Eventually one gets old enough to make their own decisions.
My friend Drew lived with us through a few years of high school cause his mother was a crack addict.
He and his brothers all had every excuse in the world to be pieces of shit but they all do well and have families of their own.
I know the trainer Mike pretty well. I had him take me out to the 50yrd line. You wouldnt believe this stadium. Its bigger and nicer than most NCAA stadiums ive seen.
Not sure what you mean about the rich though. Allen is a nice area but by no means is it considered the wealthy parts of Dallas like Highland Park or Southlake.
Lots and lots of medium income homes. Its just a huge suberb where football is king. its unreal how big the crowds are for a high school football game.

just a look at the extremes..for the most part life in the USA affords everyone a chance at sucess,,some have one hell of a climb out of the CRACCKHEAD INFESTED HOMES THEY ARE BORN INTO,,THEY DIDN'T ASK TO ENTER INTO THE CASTE SYSTEM AT THAT LEVEL..LADY LUCK and bad luck at that had them start at the very friggin bottom.
my understanding from the video is that 60 million dollars in community debt was accepted in the okin' of this structure...FOR HIGH SCHOOL KIDS TO PLAY FOOTBALL..
personally I would have voted against such a measure.
now 60 million dollars for the 6000 smartest kids in the area to continue their education..
ya got my attention..
quite sure there are even more wealthy places to live in Dallas proper..
can't hurt to live in an area that can afford to ok a structure that cost 60 million dollars for "Friday Night Lights" in Texas..
I sure hope they allow those facilities to be used by other high schools around the area..
be nice for as many kids as possible to experience playing in such a posh stadium.

nothing..absolutely nothing could be farther from the truth...
children are born swimming in money every day..others are born into a comfortable lifestyle that is guarenteed.....others are born into varying degrees of financial stability that affords them the luxarry of a better than even chance of "making it".
the sad part is that others[infants] are born into a world of desperation and dispair..who had no choice in their beginnings
their climb to "making it" is a hell of a lot different and extremely more difficult.
taking the bus 13 miles each way to work for 7.50 and hour is vastly different than jumping in the car daddy bought ya to go to work.
the stark reality of the born into caste system of this country.
you can move up..you can move down..hell ya can stay the same..
bottom line..nobody chooses their starting point.
can everybody "make it"?
to a certain degree..absolutely..
that rise from the gutter infested with hardship and dispair is a whole different game played on an entirely different playing field.
