It is unreal how 60 seconds has maintained there high rating all these years. Fox news gets excited because it has around 1.2 million viewers in the 6pm to 8pm time spot on nightly news. CNN has around 900 thousand and with there CNN head line news network another 125 to 175 thousand that make them about even. MSNBC gettes around 300 thousand. 60 seconds gettes 9 to 10 millon each week. They been doing it for 20 years.
Dan Rather was manipulated by saddam. iraq did the editing & gave CBS what they thought was beneficial to them.

Ar182 i'm from Quebec city, I live in old Quebec. Shure i would like to go and have a few together. Ask your wife if she know's college des jesuites, cegep m?rici, university laval, Chez Maurice and Dagoberg; some of the places i do know

Rather is the best, if the content that was taped and broadcast was really manipulated in Sadam favor be sure that he would have mention it and that 60 min would have done a big deal about it.

Dont get me wrong here, i love the states, i spend most of my childhood summers there, i'm very much americanise i watch dan rather each night but i also watch TV5 (the europeen news) every night. I'm open minded and i can tell you that sometimes the news from one continent to the other dont sound the same.
I just dont want the irakien people to get hurt in this, wich was the case last time over. In 1991 the entire irakien suffered becose of the sanctions (resolution 661) that where put in place...not Sadam: people like you and me did not have medications for a reason that they did not understand. YES SADAM IS DANGEROUS but right now the WORLD is asking for time to prove that he is arm and dangerous. What is a few months to achieve world wide consensus under the security that the world is watching IRAK
Remeber that in Afghanistan chit did happend at the end becose of the usa and remember IRAN in 1979 and go further back in vietnam. Dont get me wrong here i'm NO ANTI USA I LOVE USA andi know that Sadam, is his younger time loved hitler and Staline, that guy is crazy.
I believe that getting the NATO "oke" is very important.
lets not make this a cultural, a religion or a flag thing.
This is a human problem we must get consensus and we wont make this around a religion thing or nationality.
Lets not make the same mistake that was done before, lets put the flags, the religion and the color a side, lets understand each other this is not a flag story this is a good against "one evil" and lets wait until we (earth people) get a consencus. Lets acts responsabilitly.

Younger guy may work. Or like you say get Chris Matthews. One problem with him is he talks so fast he forget himself what he just asked. I like him alot but man he's got to slow down. As for Dan. He earn his stripes. I remember him right down in the ditches in nam. The guy took a chance to see if this mad man would even talk to him. And the good news is. Our government uses all that tape to go over and over it with our specilist to see anything they can gain form it. I believe you will find behind the closed doors. There was some thanks for Dan getting this info for them.

Rather should have murdered Saddam. Could have saved billions $$$ and saved thousands of lives. Only problem is Dan is far left and supports Saddam.
Insider believe that statement is full of chit. Rather earn his stripes in the patty fields of nam. And you never heard him say he supports Saddam.
