Yes we did! And by the end of this chapter, we will have a better trade deal with China, and fantastic trade deals with the majority of the free world.

I needed to post the video where Tom actually backs down at the moment they're supposed to fight.

Im sure we'll dance this dance once or twice more before whatever finally happens.

Probably

I’m thrilled that he paused the tariffs. My perspective is he should have notified each country what he’s unsatisfied with in regards to our trade agreements, and that after a 90 or 180 day period he would roll out reciprocal tariffs. Btw, I mean actual reciprocal tariffs, not the foolishness that they put together and sold to us as a reciprocal tariff rate.

I have lost some confidence in The Trump 2.0 because this rollout has been so obviously mishandled imo . I totally understand why the left is freaking out.

I think he mishandled the federal job reduction as well. Think about it, Bill Clinton eliminated over 400k federal jobs. But, he did so methodically. No one walked on a stage with a chainsaw and laughed about laying people off. There was a process. And had Trump gone this route, his bureaucracy reduction would’ve been far better received by the Center left, and certainly true independents.

I actually agree with almost everything he plans on doing. It’s the bull in a china shop manner of going about it that I just don’t understand.

finally, you're talking sense. the manner in which they were laid off is absolutely disgusting, and no way to treat anybody. no matter what your perception of these workers is, most of them are hard workers who are actually serving their country. nobody takes a government job to get rich. is there bloat in government? well, duh. but a large part of that bloat is redundancy in an effort to prevent fraud. it ain't perfect, but it sure the hell ain't as bad as some people have been led to believe.

hmmm.... yeah, it's so strange. trump is famous for his subtlety.
