Halos pen crashed and burned, costing me and others sweep of the board, but 3-1 is profit, so we accept. Dodgers rally kinda balanced things out, so I cannot, or should not , complain.

Early game:

Hou/SF Under 9 -125 LOSS
Hou/SF Under 5 ( 1st 5 innings) -115 LOSS

Moehler is 14-2 UNDER for the season, 7-2 @home, but he is perfect at night. That doesn't mean it can't happen in a daytime start, and SF bats scare absolutely noone. The Astros bats are the ones to worry about, but day game after night game should cure that. HP Ump Jerry Layne is 13-9 to the under this year, FYI.

YTD: +6.53 Units

Totals 10-2 +8.65
Favorites 4-3 -0.35
Dogs 1-2 -0.84
Parlays 0-1 -1.00
RL 1-1 +0.40
Series 1-2 -0.35 ( Dogs +1.0, faves -1.35)

Adding:

Colo +130 LOSS

Snakes not really pounding the lefty starters, and the ump Holbrook favors the Rocks in this spot (17-8 for home teams)

Another afternoon dog to add:

OAK +131 LOSS

Appears to be an exercise in futilty, with the offense-less A's facing the hot James Shields, but have a feeling about this one. HP ump is 20-9 for home teams, and figure it to be low-scoring, and a break here or there lets even the worst teams to win sometime. No Longoria or Crawford= not the same team that has led the division all year.

Book-thanks for the kind words.

Notes about Hou-SF. Giants 5-6-7 hitters are appearing in their first-first-second ML games for the Giants.

Winn is 13-24 lifetime v Moehler ( now 15-26 after 2-2 start).

Its a crazy game, but I love it

Astros Under in deep trouble, as leadoff batter seems to have been on in every half-inning. Dodging bullets for so long, its only a matter of time.

Piling on to a horrific start to the day, but I liked this one early, and I won't be scared by the early results.

Pit/Cin UNDER 9 -110 WINNER!

My favorite Under ump, Paul Emmel works the dish. His 7.64 RPG is the lowest in baseball, and both of these teams have lost big parts of offense in trades ( Dunn, Bay, Nady). Emmel is 16-7 Under on the '08 season.

Ziegler scoreless streak ends, as A's will have to play catchup now.

Blowing leads of 2-0 and 4-2, Billy Beane cannot be proud of the team he is putting on the field these days. Moneyball? Yeah right.
