One for this afternoon's game. I most likely will pass on tonight's games but I am still looking. I will post any additional plays here. Good luck.

Florida +135 over CUBS 500/675

Burnett is the better pitcher of the two. Wood just faced the Marlins in his last outing while Burnett did not face the Cubs in their series a week ago so Florida should have a leg up on Wood. I would expect the Marlins to respond after the trades. Both Floyd and Dempster were underperforming lately and they should still be a wildcard contender after the trades. Also, the Cubs have lost their last four series' and are just playing poor baseball in general.

Nick,

Congrats on getting your bankroll back to where it started at the beginning of the year. I think it is very impressive when you patiently worked your acct back up as opposed to doubling up bets and chasing plays. I know it is still the half way point in the season and anything can happen by seasons end. But I think your money management and your discipline has paid off. GL on your Florida play and I wish you luck in the 2nd half of the season.

Thanks for that, Crazy Horse. It does feel good but the bottom line is that there is still a lot more work to do on this season. Good luck to you also the rest of the way.

I think I'm gonna puke with the way that Cubs game ended. Dunno if you folks saw the replay, but Wilson made a great catch going back and then smashed into the brick wall in center field. He fell to the ground with the ball still in his glove and when his glove hit the ground the ball popped out. It was ruled a hit and the Cubs won.

Nevermind the fact that I was dumb and I should have bet the runline. And nevermind the fact that (at least according to Cubs' announcer Chip Caray the fielder has to reach into his glove for it to be ruled a catch. That was still a damned tough way to lose a game and Wilson clearly had the catch, took a few steps with the ball and then had his collision jar the ball loose.

I really would like to bet something else to take the taste out of my mouth for today. The only two games tonight that looked good to me were Colorado or Los Angeles. Anyone have a good play for tonight for me to play for a few bucks?

dodgers under
and dodgers on rl

not because i had them but that is not a catch saw the replay, when you are runnig and catch a ball inwhich the body strikes an object player must remove ball with throwing hand to be a secure catch. or get back up if player is knocked down and hold ball up in glove hand neither did he do tuff break because he made a great run to the ball.

Thanks.

I agree that by the rule it is not a catch. I am just saying it was a tough break watching the play. You can't have a rule in baseball where a wall or the ground can jar a ball loose and have it still be a catch.

thats why i told you in our little talk to take the +1.5 in a lowing scoring game which i said it would be 1.5 runs is allot when you want to play the dog. so now you won both insted of 1-1.
