Wells goes for the Bucs, which gives them a big pitching matchup advantage. They have outhit the Astros is both games in this series, indicating that they are playing the overall better baseball. Astros seem to be ready for a down cycle after some hot recent play so I am going to look to fade them in the near future.

Harang looked vulnerable in his last start. Oakland had the big comeback yesterday, indicating that they could come out flat today. Royals have already lost the first two games of this series by a single run, so I am taking the runline. Sounds dumb in a way, but it is going by the old Expect the Unexpected theory. I would just kick myself if they lost by a single run for the third straight game and I passed on the chance to take the runline.
