12 team league. i am assuming some combo of these are gone. LT, Sjax, Addai, Gore, Alexander, LJ are gone. Manning should be the pick but i am scared of the quality of RB i am going to get on the snake back. I am also anti qb in mid 1st round. I just think you can get the qb who score 6 six less many more rounds later. SO what do you think the need rb should be off the board? Parker? westbrook? RUDI?

i will tell you that i had a similar pick last year..

I took Manning and won the league..

you should still be able to get a couple of decent backs.. like Travis Henry, Ronnie Brown, Cedric Benson, Thomas Jones, or Brandon Jacobs who should have a great year

Round three will be slim pickins but Paytons 30pts a game makes up for it. At least it did last year

good luck

If you get points for recpts I would take Westbrook or Parker.

IF not you could consider Rudi. He is a model of being consistent. Take your 1300 & 12 TDs & be happy w/ no injury history like the two above, but he doesnt catch passes.

You might also want to consider Maroney in NE. With Dillon gone, he should get more carries and I don't recall anyone who would take away the goal line carries. Plus if Moss is healthy and playing hard, it should open up running lanes like it did in Minn.

Don't forget McGahee in Balt.....he is gonna get a lot of carries this year and should be a stud, provided he doesn't get hurt..

You'll have an opportunity to take Westbrook or Addai. The safer pick is Addai. Westy can't seem to stay healthy. However, when healthy, Westbrook is a notch on the belt lower than LT. In my opinion, you must take a couple of risks with this draft position. Take a gamble on Westy, and if he stays healthy, you'll be glad you did. Good luck!

Addai wont be there @ 7.

He is going 3-5 in almost every draft.

If it is PPR you take Reggie Bush and laugh at those in front of you who didn't..if not PPR, Willie Parker is safe, but those people who pass on Henry this year will be sorry (or at least I think) :SIB

IMO, to blankly state to never take a QB the caliber of Manning before the 5th round is ridiculous. Especially when you don't know the scoring system. Depending on the scoring setup, Manning could easily be a top 10 scorer. But I do agree generally it's wise to not be figuring out your second running back in the third or fourth round, and after Manning, no QB is worth going too high for...most are pretty similar scorers.

Travis Henry if he stays healthy{and doesnt :weed: } will have a HUGE year in the Denver system. He gained over 1200 last year behind our line and THAT is impressive. Think he will be a 100 yard a game back for Denver and double digit TDs
