Vehicle enhancements may be the worst investment of ones money that one can make. Depreciation is increadable and resale is usually 1/4 of original cost.

Yes, there are exceptions....but If you take all "enhancements" and average them out the exceptions are lowerer than the lotto.

Drive a sensable vehicle and invest. Retire at 50 and laugh at the others who have to eat at Taco Bell because they spent too much money on thier cars. :cool:

Very true blazer, but I guess we all go through phases...

Looking back over the last 10 years, the amount of money I have spent on cars is absurd, downright ridiculous...but I had fun and do not regret it one bit.

Nothing like having your neck snap back with a tap of the gas pedal...

That 700 HP they are claiming seems like a bit much. At least, that 12.38 1/4 mile time seems a little slow. That is a VERY large amount of HP. Got to question whether or not all 700 is finding its way to the pavement. That motor would really be nice in a smaller car.

Stuman, I would agree that its fair to say that the 700 hp claim is CRANK HORSEPOWER and not rear wheel horsepower...also @ 12.38 ET I would agree that the run was without slicks, but one has to remember the weight of the truck, indeed it is heavy...

ET= HOOK
MPH= POWER

My car for example on a drag radial consistently does high 11's low 12's, on slicks high 10s is the norm...but MPH was always high 120s low 130s.... traction is indeed crucial to a low ET.

What makes me happy though is that my car is a daily driver emissions legal automobile.
