No. 3 couldn't keep it going and no. 5 never had it going.
The wiener, no.1, is one of them there "Holy Bull's" and they will go wire to wire when they're feeling their oats for SURE and that's no bull. Didn't have that one at all today and feared exactly what happened today too. "Magic no." tri paid $182.
Just some thoughts
Even though there ain't anybody around, here's what I have WRITTEN DOWN for the 9th race.... 2/1,4,6/1,4 .. AND/OR .. 2,7 top/bot 6,8. Luck sure is holding up - put in all bets early this morning EXCEPT for the last race . LUCKED out cause this race got destroyed with all the scratches and that's gonna make it even easier for the hoss that's gonna get bet down big time anyways.
Last race is now a joke with all them scratches. They're gonna bet the hell out of the no 2 hoss and I can't disagree with that at all. Just got online and only got to see the results of one of the playables today.. the 6th ("magic" no. zacta paid $79.60 and I didn't even realize that my plicks included the "magic"), and they ain't getting the preceeds from that race back. Bottom line is that I will only bet small tickets, prob. only to win, for the last race IF I see a looker that just may be ready to upset that no. 2 in the last race . Even then, I don't believe the no. 2 can be beaten in the 9th.
Watched the 8th replay (a NO PLAY race for certain) and it looks like there was a Philly style bridge jumpa around today. Man, does that person got some balls - this AIN'T the track for those types at all. . :nono:
Good to see whoever he/she is won the race
Looking forward to seeing some of the regulars (MJers) again in this deserted forum. Gotta check out the replay for the other playable I had going earlier (only one race, the 4th).

There ya go - 2/5 shot runs out of the moola! True, he came out of the gate like a drunk, but still, you just don't play those types of situations at this twack. IMO, usually, just stay out of those kinda races or playem like a newbie like I did. I HOPE that whale/bridge jumpa left after hitting the 6th. My guess is he/she didn't cause that favorite had all the ingredients of a sure thang.
BTW, that no. 5 ran like a lot of the LOOKERS do - PLENTY of speed down the backstrech and not enough at the end of the race. I still believe it's worthwhile to take them seriously cause enough of them win at HUGE prices. This one still hadem by a little less than an open length going into the clubhouse turn and went off at something like 20 to 1. .
I still didn't get to check out the 4th :facepalm:
Hope to see some players around next week and MOSTLY hope the weather holds up.
Didn't hit "submit" yet and decided to watch the 4th race replay. Plicks were 1A top/bot 4,5,9.10.
Results -> 4-5-1 (no. 1A did run, but that doesn't matter)
It was a playable race alright --> Zacta paid $251.60 and tri paid $1403
Ain't hoss wacin fun MOST of the time ? SON-Ah-Mah-BEACH!
