Really like Central Michigan as Indiana puts in new players at every skill position on offense. These are kids that couldn't start on last years' pathetic team. Shouldn't be layin' dd.

. . . and if the name of a certain team from South Central is even mentioned in this thread, I'll wish the college football forum good luck and see you in August 2006.

Thoughts on any of the other lines?

Just from first glance.......

Boise St. +8 over UGA
Arizona +9 over Utah
Colorado St. +9 over Colorado
BYU +7 over BC

I see a lot of value in all 4 plays.

SCar un51.5 I played this today. This is a Spurrier inflated total IMO. Knights couldn't score on MAC defenses.

\agree with Arizona Scott...Stoops will have this team come out with a bang, and Utah will be highly overvalued IMO because of their success last year...I could be wrong, but I know gman would agree with me here and see some value in the ML as well...just thinking about college football has me feeling like a kid waiting for xmas lol

Master Capper, glad to see you like Arizona and Houston as well...def a new regime IMO, the win over Arizona St. last year as 14 point dogs impressed me very much, and to think Stoops pulled that win off in his first year as HC...that same ASU team blew out Iowa earlier in the season

can't wait to see how many points Bowling Green will be getting vs. the Badgers....BG is 11-3 is SU and 9-1 ATS vs. BCS schools..5-2 SU and 7-0 on the road since 2001..BG is 11-4 ATS in road openers since 1990...the Badgers have only 4 returning starters on defense and are 6-15 ATS vs (3-15 as a double digit fave last 5 years) non-conf teams since 1999

cant imagine that bg will be getting too many points. they're a secret no longer, especially with that offense. it will be interesting to see how bg's defense holds up against the run, because thats really the only area where they're a little suspect, and they're breaking in some new linebackers. one thing's for sure, regardless of outcome, bg is going in there expecting to win. if jacobs leads them to a win, you could see roethlisberger- and moss-type heisman hype for him. all told, there are some real interesting mac games right off the bat in '05

My book doesn't have over/unders up yet, but is Utah/AZ really 47? That seems really high. Last year's final was 29 and I would expect this year's game to have even more dominance from both D's. While Utah's O takes a step backwards.

Miami O +16' vs. the Bucks at the shoe may be as large a play as I'll make all season. There are countless reasons to like the Redhawks in this spot.

Zwick....Tex on deck... And the MAC has fared very well in the shoe as of late. Really love this one.
