Last week: 3-3 (-0.3 units)
YTD: 6-4 (+1.6 units)

Last week recap:
Losers
Auburn--What a joke of a team. Anyone that was hyping this team as a national contender forgot that they have Campbell at QB.
Virginia--Glad to see one SEC team look good this week. Total misread on SC talent on my part.
Maryland--should have listened to everyone about FSU owning Maryland.
Winners:
Middle Tennesse St.--played out about how I expected. Blind squirrells find nuts, too!
Marshall--Tennessee is in more trouble than I thought.
Florida--Will Zook be around by the end of the season?

Funny week. I either read a game perfectly or misread it completely this week. Not a close one on my card. Funny how things work out like that.

Be back with this week's leans by Wednesday.

Good luck to all!

Dawgball,

Without Schaub, Virginia appears to be clueless.

Schaub is to the Wahoos, what Michael Jordan was to the Bulls.

Anthony Martinez, God bless his peaked head, is a woeful replacement. He CANNOT THROW IN THE FLAT, LET ALONE DOWNFIELD.

Virginia......Comp.....Att.....Yds.....TD......Int
Martinez......10........20......54.......0........2

I listened to the game and Virginia played like they were frightened. Like they were afraid to be on the field. Really a sorry performance.

Early lean:

FSU -24: GT will come in with a little confidence, but they will be singing a different tune once the Seminole defense lays it on them. I usually do not lay this many points, but it is looking very tempting.

My take on Georgia: UGA is probably 4 TDs better than this Cocks team. The problem is that the Dawgs seem to have a jinx on them with SC. We have a real problem getting our offense started against Holtz every year. The Cocks have gone from a 3-5-3 to a 4-3 defense. I think Green will be able to recognize coverages and blitzes better from 4 man front. I like Georgia at the two TD mark. I am guessing that the line will be under 14 by game time.

Be back with more if I see any.

Thanks, horn.

Here are plays I have made so far:

FSU -24 1 unit
Georgia -14 1 unit
Notre Dame +10 1 unit
Miami (OH) -3 1 unit

Taking Notre Dame on the same lines I took Florida last week. You give me double digits in a rivalry like this with two real football schools, and I will almost always be a sucker for the points.

Miami (OH) is a play based on Hellah10 and gman2. No reason to not state when you are simply coat-tailing!:p

May be back with more but have company in town for remainder of the week, so I doubt it.

Good luck to all!

I like your picks!!

I heartd the radio today that GA reciever Fred Gibson is doing better than first thought. Will he play this week, no . Will he play next week questionable. Thats Alot better than the 3 to 4 weeks they originally thought.

Thanks, toast and sorry for the late reply.

Gibson is listed as questionable today. I don't think his absence will be felt in this game as much as later down the road. I would like to see him sit out this game if he could and recover for tougher battles.

The bigger loss, I believe, in this game is RB Tony Milton. But I have liked what I have seen in limited time by backups Cooper and Powell.

I think the bigger news is who the Dawgs are getting back this week. I won't list all of the players, but the story on Georgia in the game against Clemson was who they would respond while missing so many players. All but one (RB Tyson Browning) are back in action this week. Browning should return for the LSU game next week.

Good luck to all!
