Anyone follow the Bearcats out there. I have looked at all of the usual stats places for info, but tough to get the feel or personality of a CUSA school.

I expected a line of about 21-22 on this one and could not believe the 15 I saw this morning. I know I am a homie here but this is hardly a road game (100 miles). All I see are positives, anyone help me see the other side?

Taz & Bond_3 - I felt that the Bucks were also going to be heavy favorites, 20-24 points, against UC this weekend and was a bit surprised at the line. Classic letdown game here for OSU especially as it's not a true home game at Paul Brown Stadium but crowd should be in their favor. After getting by Washington St. with ease in the second half this coming game and the Wisconsin game are ones they could overlook easily. (They follow Wisconsin with PennSt at home) Unless line moves over 17 Bucks should be the play here.

i similar circuumstances in the iowa-utah st game...have to lay 21,but,iowa should steamroll utah st...state gives up over 250 yards rushing per game and iowa is very powerful up front(between 250 and 300 yards per game)...may be looking ahead, but,i think kirk ferentz will have them focused...alot like the akron game...i think ferentz will work on their pass defense(won`t see a seneca wallace here)....

I have to agree 100%. I thought maybe this was a look-ahead game for Ohio St but they have Indiana at home next week so I don't know what the oddsmakers are thinking here. I mean the way Clarret is running I don't see how Ohio St can't cover 21 in the first half let alone 15.

A few years ago Wisky came into Cinci as a large favorite and get beat outright. I think that team had Dayne and was ranked in the top ten at the time. Cinci has some offense and they are very well coached but I highly doubt that they will be able to hang in the game past the half. They should give OSU alot better game than Kent did, Kent was pretty one dimensional and the Bearcats are a little more balanced. Defensively the Cats are pretty weak as you can see by what WVU did to them last week at Cinci.

I believe with or without Clarett, OSU will cover this game but it may be a sweat. Big 10 play starts next week and the Buckeyes only have this game to decide how many of their all-star recruiting class will play this year. Since only 70 athletes can travel to a non-conference game, it will be interesting to see who travels and who does not. Will Tressel take more freshmen with him to give them the chance to play this year and contribute? Or will he just take the upperclass players? Though OSU has the superior talent here, it would scare me a little bit to see OSU up 23 or so and then see either freshmen in the game for the 4th quarter or, as many have forecasted, seniors who "coast" through the rest of the game.

There are a couple of key factors in this game. The weather & Paul Brown Stadium. They are predicting rain for Friday night ? Saturday morning which will only make the field at PBS worse than it already is. They have replaced the sod a few times since the stadium opened but it hasn?t helped. It's the worst field in the NFL which is only fitting for the home of the worst team in the NFL. There is no way OSU plays Clarett in this game and OSU should cover. Just my 2 cents worth.
