bear, if i might ask, why rutgers? i know they covered about every game last year. illini qb guaranteeing victory may help. also, road dog of less than a fg usually the right side. don't know much about rutgers' team this year. just wondering if you had any clearcut reasons. thanks

Actually, rutgers was only 4-6 ATS last year, it was 2003 that they were 10-2.

RU 18-9 ATS last 3 years as a dog and 10-2-1 ATS last 13 games on the road vs. non-conference. 9 starters back on O and 8 on D.They have 16 seniors back.

Illini 6-15 ATS last 21 lined openers. They only have 4 seniors back.Last year they were outgained 132.9 ypg in league games. They have a new coach who is not as good as the Rutgers coach in my oppinion and will also be learning a whole new offensive schemes.

What about Colorado State? Do you have any reasoning behind them? I was thinking about taking them too, but haven't looked at it real hard yet.

Give me over a td with a Sonny Lubick coached team that has 17 returning starters,..the most he has ever had had back in 10 years,..only 11 lettermen lost,..2 good quaterbacks,..last year in this yearly dogfight they were stopped at the 1 yard line with 30 seconds left and lost by 3 points.CSU is 24-9 ATS last 34 games as a road dog.The CSU defense were hit hard by injuries last year. You should see a vast improvement in their defense.I know that the Buffs have lots of guys back on D but those are mostly the same guys that sucked last year.

The fave in this CSU/CU game since 1986 is 1-8 ATS the last 9 games and 3-12 last 15

Good info SuperBear and your dead right on the CU / CSU game. Dog has covered 8 of the last 9. and CSU was one yard away last year.

Lubick is a a genius and if he has the guys like Anderson and Holland on the same page look out.

Im not convinced on Holland but i am on Sonny with preperation.

I like points and i like money :D

Good Luck to the new season. :toast:

Nice card, superbear.

You're right in saying Lubick is an excellent coach. I can't imagine him having another down year. Not sure if his D is up to snuff tho.
