LW: 3-1 (+1.9 units)

LW Recap:
Georgia--looked like returning SEC champs. Offensive line held up much better than expected. David Greene is an incredibly smart QB.
Vanderbilt--Ole Miss proves that they are one man team
BYU--Georgia Tech is terrible
Kentucky--made wager only because I was positive for week and from UK. First, but certainly not last, mental mistake of the year.

This coming week:

I have already played Auburn against a TERRIBLE Georgia Tech team. Auburn fizzled and flopped against a very good USC team. The hype that the game received has to weigh this line down to our favor. Auburn is still the team that was getting National Contender press, so I will give the points here. Have I mentioned how awful GTech is, yet. This line should be double digits. You can find better lines than I have posted here, but it will certainly be rising.

Auburn -9 1 unit (-110) @ Infinity

Will be back with more plays later in the week.

Looking at:

Maryland (+14') @ FSU.

Here are two teams that surprised most people with their performance last week. Maryland lost to a less talented N. Illinois and FSU completely dominated fellow ACCer North Carolina. With these two things in mind, I am leaning towards taking two touchdowns, a hook, and a big fat head coach with Maryland. I feel that the Terps will be in for a battle to save a season from tanking before the third week by keeping this game within a touchdown.

Marshall (+19') @ Tennessee

My other lean currently is playing against the Volunteers of Tennessee. Watching their game last week, I was not overly impressed with much of anything. Marshall struggled with 1-AA Hofstra until Byron Leftwich-replacement Stan Hill settled down in the 4th quarter. If Marshall can improve on the 5 turnovers by their QB, they should be able to put some numbers on the board.

Have not played these games yet.

One more lean:

Lean:
MTSU (+28') @ Georgia

Georgia is in a position this week against Middle Tennesse State to try out some of the back-ups that they have. With all of the suspensions and injuries, this is a major concern for HC Richt. 28' points is at risk with a likely back-door cover.

Two more leans:

(This is too many leans this early in the week! )

Florida (+14') @ Miami

Let me make a very around the way point. You take Kentucky-Louisville. They're just like Florida-Miami in football, right? Allright, I'm not smoking crack, but the situation is the same. The big difference is that neither of the Florida schools can spell football, but they sure can play it! Ron Zook or not, I will take the extra motivated Gators to cover two touchdowns against the heavily talented Storks!

Virginia (-3) @ South Carolina

I must be glutton for punishment taking all of these travelling teams! South Carolina showed absolutely zilch against the La-Las last weekend. Just got done watching the shortened version of the game. La-La fumbled on SCs 2 yard line and their own 28 (leading to SCs first TD). QB Pinkins looked worse than a first day of mini-camp not able to figure out timing with his receivers. I don't believe a week's worth of practice is going to shape this team up enough to hang with a more talented Virginia team. This will probably be my first play for more than 1 unit on the year.

Thanks, AR. Good luck to you as well.

Correction: Obviously, Virginia should be listed as (-3).
