I have decided to post my plays in the forum all month since it seems traffic will be light because of football. Good luck.

BOSTON +150 over Cleveland 500/750

Colon has thrown 237 pitches his last time out and his hit totals were up while his strikeout totals fell last time out. That is a sign of a tired arm and he could get hit hard today. Fossum is a solid starter who will give you about 6 innings with three runs or less. Boston has the better bullpen without question. The big thing here is that Chicago is having a terrible time hitting lefties lately. They are batting under .200 against them over their last ten games.

TORONTO +140 over Yankees 500/700

Carpenter has been a consistent starter all year. He has given up just one run in his last two outing combined. Pettite is a real talent but he has allowed double digit hits in his last two starts with low strikeout totals, a sign of fatigue. Both bullpens are relatively fresh and good with the exception of Koch from Toronto, who is struggling anyway. i would expect Plesac or Quantrill to close tonight if needed. The Yanks broke out yesterday but overall they are having more trouble scoring runs than Toronto. Mondesi is absolutely smoking right now.

Nick, enjoying reading your writeups I however tend to play more chalk this time of year. Just wanted to let you know Nomo is probably starting for Boston tonight . Also be careful backing these Boston clowns, this ship is taking on big water. If not for the impending sale Duke would be fired by weeks end.
