9/9 thru 9/11 plays

YTD: 13-12 (+0.49)

early plays....any input is welcome

Miami -1.5 (-107)...Miami has owned FSU in the past few years...will it be another wide right?

Boise -7(-109)...how will OSU regroup?...Boise rolled last week and they are on the "blue" field

UConn -14(-106) 2 Units :scared ...They are an explosive team...They "should" cover this...will probably tease this play as well

Penn State -2.5 (-103)...can they keep up the offensive production of last week on the road?

UVa/UNC Over when it comes out...leaning UNC to cover

Wake depending on RB's health

GT/Clemson Over...leaning Tigers

more later :142lmao:

Like Boise to kick Oregon St in the Beaver! I think Oregon St will have a hard time playing Friday. Think everyone will be thinking about what should have been at LSU.
Like the Canes. Think they will out rush FSU. FSU QB will probably have his same terrible game against the Canes.
Looking at Troy St getting the cover and Illinois beating UCLA straight up.

Good luck on your plays!

Pack should be an middle tier ACC team to possibly an "elite" team...

They had their warm-up game this past week and new QB Davis performed well...backup Stone took over the 2nd half and did good as well

not playing were 2 of the best players for the team in RB McCledon and Rover Andre Maddox

6th year Senior Colmer (medical redshirt) played well and is back to his All-American ways

team has this week off and then host the Buckeyes of Ohio State....to say they will be ready hopefully will be an understatement;)...they could of have that game last year, and I am hoping they pull it off this year :)

No Vacation for Pack

No Vacation for Pack

No Vacation for Pack
Despite bye week, NC State have a full week of practice.

Sept. 5, 2004

By Tony Haynes

Raleigh -- For most people, the Labor Day holiday provides a long weekend and a much-needed Monday break from the norm. But while many will be spending an extra day at the beach or cooking out with friends and family on Monday, the NC State football team will get back to work. And even though the Wolfpack - a 42-0 winner over Richmond in its season opener on Saturday - will not play next weekend, head coach Chuck Amato says there will be no vacation for his staff or players.

"Come Labor Day, we have to Labor them," Amato cracked. "Were going to get this Richmond film behind us, make corrections, let them lift and do some agility drills so they can work up a sweat."

Amato has had all summer to come up with a strategy that he thinks will take advantage of a bye week before Ohio State comes to town for a Saturday, September 18th contest on ABC at 3:30. The Buckeyes, who slowly pulled away from Cincinnati on Saturday, will be back in action this weekend when they entertain Marshall in Columbus.

"We've got an extra week, an extra week that they don't have on us so we've got to take the best advantage we can without getting anybody hurt," Amato said.

With the exception of starting offensive tackle Derek Morris, NC State came out of Saturday's opener in pretty good shape physically. Morris turned an ankle on a first quarter touchdown run by freshman tailback Darrell Blackman against the Spiders and did not return.

"He's got a grade two ankle sprain," Amato said on Sunday. "We're going to put him in a boot for a couple of days. There's some swelling, but not a lot. That ankle is holding up an awful lot of weight. If it were just the calves, it would be holding up an awful lot of weight."

NC State's other starting tackle, Chris Colmer, did appear to emerge from Saturday's contest in pretty good shape. Colmer was playing his first game in almost two years after missing all of last season with the nerve condition that caused numbness and tingling in his left shoulder.

"He did well," Amato said. "He's a very physical person. It doesn't look like the shoulder was a factor with Chris. Because we've kept him out of some things, I think the biggest thing with him is his stamina. A lot of times linemen can play themselves into shape. He was gassed a few times on Saturday when he came off that field."

The win over Richmond gave NC State's its eighth straight opening day victory and its fifth in a row under Amato. Of course, the Division 1-AA Spiders really didn't have enough athletes in their arsenal to put a lot of pressure on the Wolfpack. That all will change when the Buckeyes make their first trip to Raleigh in less than two weeks.

"We're going to have a running team coming at us, which we haven't seen," said Amato. "It will be much better than what we saw on Saturday. We go so much against a passing attack with our offense, but we're going to see an awful lot of that power running with two backs. We've really got to work on that. They're not going to have a vacation this week."

Love the boise play. Think O ST. will not be able to recover from this weekends loss and Boise is to strong at home. Also, don't think O. ST's kicker will be very dependable either.:)

Also, I have Troy St. as one of my strongest plays this weekend I got it at +11. This team is stronger, deeper, and more expierenced than in years past. not to mention this will be there 1st game ever on National TV and it's at home. They should give Mizz a run for there money and possibly pull off 2 upsets in a row.

As always B.O.L.

I myself am waiting for the total to hit the over unless it is absurd. Looking how our D performed last week coupled w/ the ease uva put up pts and I think this should run over. I'm still running the 21 points thru my head but honestly i can see us losing by 30.

I think State's going to be an under machine this year - I just wish they'd play a D-1A game some time so I can test my theory.

How high would you go on the UNC total? I would go over anything up to 70 ... at least.

What's the word on Duke's best cover corner? Do you think he'll go on Saturday? I think UConn looks like the side.

I'm leaning with you on Clemson, but I think the under may be the way to go. Clemson obviously misses Hamilton and Youngblood -- it looked like we had goes running the wrong routes a number of times. Two new DT's -- Cory Groover and Donnell Clark -- look like they can play. Clemson handled Wake's schemes better this time, but gave up two long TD plays. Clemson scored 9 points on a punt return and a blocked punt (safety), and we had 13 points in OT, the score was deceptively high. Knowing Gailey, he will be very conservative against Clemson's strong secondary.

ECU's pretty bad, but are you sure you can trust Wake as a favorite?

Good luck.

that's the 2nd person on Troy...thanks for the info...great stuff

Thinking the O/U will probably be in mid to upper 60's :scared ...anything in high 50's to low 60 and I would definitely the over...guess we will just have to wait and see....still awaiting your analysis on the matchup Dave;)

...the next game will probably be under with OSU, but with poorer defenses, they will put up 24-31 points....our D is better this year, but still vulnerable against the Run

Im thinking line will hopefully come out mid 60's...would still play over :scared

dont know...anyone with info, please share...will try ot find it at thier homepage...UConn worried be a bit last week, but then the 2nd Half started and they opened up a can...a 2nd half play could possibly be a play as well;)....I'm probably wrong, but cant see any reasons to play Duke

Either Wake played great D or Whitehusrt made some bad mistakes..those INT's were pretty bad...I did not like how the Tigers look over to the bench before each play to make adjustments....didnt seem to work...they have some issues to work out....GT got a warm-up to the season....lets see how they fare gainst a better opponent on the road...under might be the way to go...will have to see...gl on the play

ECU's pretty bad, but are you sure you can trust Wake as a favorite?
cant trust em till i know the certainty of Barclays health...he makes the team multi-dementional...will not be a play until someone can confirm...ECU looked pretty bad last week..I am sure they will play better with a weeks worth of practice and it being their Home opener

This is Wake Forest we're talking about. They have a good coach and a tricky scheme that makes them competitive week in and week out now, but they still don't play good defense -- 454 yards per game against them last year. Whitehurst did make bad mistakes on those INT's, and (as usual) the play-calling wasn't what it could be. And you're right about those adjustments -- the O worked much better under Rodriguez when the Tigers were snapping the ball with 15-20 seconds left on the play clock. Anyway, I expect about 37-45 points in this one. Under will likely open around 48, and that would be a play. If it's on the other side of 51 -- pound the under.

lol....they changed defensive schemes since last year...looked pretty good...they weren't exceptional, but they did pretty good..they should have had that win even though i was on the Tigers...will keep an eye on the total...

For some reason I am liking the Beavers in this one-gl
hate to disagee with you, but the best of luck on the play :)
