I got 3.5 at open for 5 units - but that number freaks me out - What are your thoughts on Public money and a 1 point line move for the Super Bowl... do you think this finishes up at 5 or 5.5? Or... does Vegas have it clocked?

LOL read this if you think Broncos lose game and hang within points

2. Turnover Ratio. Forty-one of the 47 Super Bowl champs had a positive turnover ratio; 21 of the 47 had a +10 or more turnover ratio in the regular season. While the Broncos turnover differential was 0, the Seahawks led the NFL with a +20 turnover ratio.

Broncos finshed at NEGTIVE To's Panthers Finsihed at PLUS 21 baby

last time we had this happen it broncos who finshed at Flat zero 0 Seahwks were Plus 21 in to's In that superbowl whyat was that final score ?

ooooooooyeah wait 43-8 lol

I cant wait until the bowl is on i will relish every minute of old aged busted up noddle arm manning getting hammered again..

That Panthers offense alone proved through two playoff wins they can beat top ranked defenses Broncos squeaked by both hurt playoff teams steelers and patriots

I'd be very surprised if Carolina scores 28 let alone 35!!

to differntial is huge

negative number vs a postive number add together to get differnce bewteen two teams or points on a straight zero line scale

heres what it looks like

Denver -4 - - - -0- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Panthers +21

byieeeeeeeeee denver Panthers win by making Deners D stay on filed with 4 minute to 6 minute drives wearing them down final scores i have are

Panthers 35 denver 14 or 17 Panthers 28- denver 9 Panthers 49 or 53 denver 21

Denver Def will not give up that absurd amount of points.

This game will be more like both teams barely cracking the 20's
Just like Denver vs New England afc championship game where the score was
Denver 20
New England 18

a question...

when we put so much emphasis on what "the public wants/plays",aren`t we admitting that many gamblers believe that the whole shooting match is fixed in some way?...why else would such a statistic mean jack- shit?.... we all would agree that logically, carolina has been the far better, more consisitent team all year long...manning looks lost out there much of the time(his qb rating is just north of eddie Arcaro`s boot size).....the entire afc has been decimated by injury and was a bit of a joke this year....

always wondered what the actual logic behind bucking the public was?(unless the books need the other side and have some way of shading the outcome)........you hear quite a bit about momentum, but, nobody`s been hotter than cam and Carolina....

we hear this contrarian anti-logic all the time on gambling forums....why?...what`s the logical explanantion?

I have been betting football for over 30 years and I do not get the whole "public money" thing. Can you really trust the sites your going on for accurate numbers? There are so many sports books that it makes my head spin thinking about trying to be on the Sharp's side of a play. For me, I like who I like and do not give a shit if it is deemed a public play or not. Both sides win games, does it really matter? And if it was that easy betting on the other side of the public......the books would get there ass handed to them weekly and that's not happening. :0008

The Sportsbooks have no frickin' idea who's gonna win this game, they never do! That's the whole idea of a point-spread. The fact that most of the wagers are on one side in this case, only means they came out with the number too low. The linemaker will adjust the line to try and attract money on the other side, but rarely if ever, will they move the line more than a couple of points. They sure as hell don't want to get middled like they did in Super Bowl XIII.
