Started in Buffalo in 1941 the franchise now knows as the Clippers reside in Los Angelus. Between these two cities, the franchise spent 6 forgetful years in San Diego. The Cincinnati Bengals have been to a Super Bowl. The Milwaukee Brewers have been to the World Series (1982 the sud series). In Hockey no team is close to their futility (for teams that have a 20 year or longer history). In the NBA, the Clippers only have two playoff appearances (1976 & 1997) and 5 winning seasons (5 years above .500 in 32 seasons.) That is what leads me to call them the worst professional franchise in sports history.
The Clippers have the worst owner: Ok, this may be harsh. Don Sterling ?not only the owner but also a client? no that?s Sly Sterling. Don is a Beverly Hills Lawyer that seems more interested in chatting than watching the game. I don?t know who their management is but word on the street is that they aren?t Basketball guys. Maybe there all lawyers and they are reading this about to sue for libel or whatever?.anyway any idiot (and I?ve been called worse) can see something is wrong in this organization and it seems to start at the top.

The Clippers is the worst name by any team anywhere. What kind of mascot should they have a guy in a boat outfit? I know the name was created for San Diego?s boating industry and their thriving harbor, but Tampa Bay has a harbor and they have a cool name ditto for Oakland. It?s just lame. I can just picture a guy right now with a pink shirt, white slacks and sebagos saying with his teeth together ?Bunny, could you fetch my slippers from the Clipper, my feet are sore.?

The Clippers bobble head dolls are even bad: Go to a Lakers game and you may get a Kobe or Shaq doll. At a Clippers game, you get Elgin Baylor. Yep, the Clippers have Boobbleheads of their VP of Basketball operations. The worst part is they aren?t giving them to the first 1,500 kids or anything like that. This team is so piss-poor they are selling them. They are selling bobbleheads for a player not on their team. They are selling a bobblehead of a player that didn?t even play on their team. Actually he played for their in-town rivals.
The Clippers and The Lakers: people say that they are like a big and little brother. I think they are more like Siamese twins. Not the set of twins that are tragically joined at the hip and are separated to survive but the twins that there is one fully developed twin and then one?.some?.uh?..leftover. The leftover is cut away and discarded.
