A Beautiful Costco Moment

Having a margin of 90%+ on cheap Chinese made garbage that you charge people a fee to purchase in the first place makes it easy to take a beating on a few things now and then.

Are any of the top brand TV's made in the United States, I don't think so? :shrug:

I had a TV repairman come out before I called Costco. His opinion after years of working on TV's was #1 is Samsung, #2 Sony and #3 Toshiba. and he thinks LED are the best. He says they hardly ever break down and there much lighter and easier to work on.

Last night there was a happy ending to the story. Took my old Costco bought Vizio from 2006 back and picked up my brand new Vizio free of charge...........oh happy day. I just love loopholes.

How much did you pay back in 2006 and how much was the one you got yesterday? Just curious how prices have changed.

2006 = 1200 LCD
2013 = 459 LED

It was a 42 inch and not a 47, my error. I decided to go with the replacement TV and not buy up. I have 90 days to decide if I want to keep it or return it. I know it's not a high end set but the picture is great and so far it works for what I need.

ps......for $459 this sure is a nice TV
