Bob, you need to fire Chuck Long.

Every decent coach has been able to shut down your offense since he took over.

This year, with a horrid QB and mediocre O-Line, Mack Brown should be able to shut down your offense.

Mack Brown shut down the offense last year. Wasnt good enough as greg Davis is worse than anyone.

nah, Greg Robinson or whatever his name was controlled it somewhat. I would not call giving up 200+ on the ground to a single back shutting down anyone anytime. OU missed many scoring opportunities AND had some horrid calls go against them and the score certainly shoudl have been worse. But their offense moved the ball well and that certainly cannot be said when good coaches schemed against Long.

Last year was certainly inexcusable with White, a dominating defensive line, the best back in the country, and a good receiving corps. Perhaps one of the best offenses personnel wise in the history of the game -- to go with a sometimes dominating defense, Long should have had no troubles against anyone.

The year before, they had the above with a decent back, and were embarrassed offensively in their last 2 games.

This year will be a different story. They certainly still have an above average line, with the best back in the country, decent ends, but Jamaal Lord II at QB and Mighty Mouse behind him.

Coach Long is in for a long year and don't expect the Sooner faithful to be as forgiving as Coach Mack is with Nincompoop Davis.

Maybe we can get Fatgino back.

Lets hope Kansas runs the table with a full slate of losses the next two years.

OU might be one of their maybe's this year however.

That might be the 2nd biggest game of the year for us.
