1. Blue Jackets -.5 [+135]

Sharks have pretty much dominated this series, going 8-2 in the last 10 games, including wins the last two trips to Columbus, and 2 straight this season, the last a 6-2 win at SJ. So why, I ask, is Columbus giving the -.5 goal here? This may be the best opportunity for SJ to grab a win on this 7 game away trip, already 0-3, losing to MIN, STL, and DET by a combined 13-8. From CMB they go to CHI, DAL, and LA.

I feel that it will be difficult for SJ to beat CMB 4 straight games. This is a 4th game in 6 nights for the Sharks, while CMB has enjoyed a 3 day break. And SJ coming off an OT loss at Colorado on Monday. Blue Jackets grab a 4-3 or 5-3 victory tonight...

2. Sharks/Blue Jackets OVER 5.5 [-115]

Both teams average over 3 GA per game, and it is likely that SJ is a tired team right now...

Good luck...IP

PHYLERS FOLOWERS: F.Y.I.

Philadelphia was shut out for the eighth time this season Monday, 1-0 to Minnesota. The last time the Flyers were shut out eight times in a season was in 1969-70. The Flyers have scored two or fewer goals in seven straight games.

Is this a trap or WHAT???

3. CAPS/THRASHERS: UNDER 6.0 [+105]

It seems TOOOOO easy to play the OVER on this game. The last 3 games - all this season - have been 6-3 Caps, 5-4 ATL at Atl, and 7-6 Caps.

That is a combined 31 goals in 3 games.

Atlanta 3-2 in OT...Teams have only played 1 tie in last 10...

Good luck cooz....

4. Parlay:

Minnesota +.5 vs Phlyers and UNDER 4.5

50/110

MIN has won 16 home games and PHY 16 away games. 2 great defenses and 2 mediocre offenses meet again. I will take the 1/2 goal in this spot...will probably play these individually too...

5. New Jersey -.5 [+100] at Phoenix

Better team with a decent record on the road, giving up less than 2 goals a game. Devils should bounce back from last nights loss to Colorado//// I play 1 unit per game, unless noted....

Thats it for tonight...IP

Best of puck....:)

Re-cap...

1. Blue Jackets :)

2. CMB/SJ Over :(

3. Caps/Thrashers Under 6 [5-1 push]

4. Wild/Phylers Parlay :D

5. Devils :)

Also hit a 3 way non-posted parlay on Ottawa, NYR, and Devils, and lost on a play on Atlanta...

Thanks to all you cappers for some great write-ups last night...some good ideas...this is the time of the season when you can make some money because teams that are out of the playoff picture will give up and just play out the season. Teams that are on the bubble will seem to find some extra adrenaline. And the top teams will not want to give up home-ice advantage. Some great hockey in store in the weeks ahead...

I wrote a long thread on these ideas last year. But I cant remeber what I said...:D

Thanks CYRA1...
