Nuthin..

Nuthin..

Neither showed much - no. 4 at 23 to 1 got 4th, like that matters ...and no. 1 was very disappointing. Don't give up on that no. 1, Major Highway , unless he's going out of form, he's a good one. Collected a whoping $8.40 exacta and, as usual, scratch money today in 3 PLAYABLE races. As long as this cycle of favorites continue ESP. in the playable races, ticket sizes are small and I've been staying away from tries. Definitely on the lookout for a race where a trifecta bet is worthwhile though cause that is what gave the backaroo a very nice boost the last time I did that. Did some studying during my hoss vacation and the "RATINGS" showed me that it's top 4 plicks often hit the tri or top 3 with one of my own and I've been working on filtering out the races where they really have a chance to hit one that is very worthwhile. Have not found one lately, well, at least not a WINNING one. You get nothing for 2 out of 3 :(

No small bets when it came to Rafa at the French yesterday... I wrote this in the "Off the Wall" forum... "HALF of the bankaroo was on him" yesterday that was 3 figuures. Yeah, again, the first one WAS a one. As usual, he came through. I think I took that risk 5 times and only lost once and that one looked like he was gonna win; he came on like Secretariat "down the stretch" but De JOKA held on. I posted yesterday's play in the "Off the Wall" place and a tune that always comes to my mind when Nadal plays. You know to just rattle them up in that place . :mj07:
It's probably worth a visit for the guests that are more interested in the humor than the hosses. LOL

That super star made me plenty in the past, I hit more than one 10/1 (one of them paid off at 17 to 1) parlays awhile back when he (the underdog) played Federer along with a prop. (no. of sets won/lost) that Dimes offered when Rafa first came on the scene.

After years (PLENTY of them) of mostly, not all, "bastages" sitting at the no. 1 spot, we finally have TWO, Fed. and Rafa, great ambassadors in the sport of tennis.

If I see some interest here I'll try to find the time to post the WEEKDAY Philly plicks. Hopefully, there a BIGUN coming down the conveyor belt soon. But, NEVA push for one cause it's gotta come to you.

G.L. with them basketball/hockey tournaments, IF thems still going on.
