My grandfather's brother was decapitated in the living room in front of the family......true story.

Finally an interesting nugget in this thread! Please go on with details of this horror. Unless this is the faux half of your persona. Come on, don't be middle of the road. Did this happen in Oregon? Utah? Royal Oak (a Detriot suberb), etc.

It happened in Armenia during the genocide attempt by the Turks/Ottoman Empire. Hitler said he learned a lot from the Turks on implementing this and his Holocaust of the Jews.

I can help. Not that those are bad.
Seriously, I am going to suggest some good footwear for you. I know you appreciate nice things. :0008

Hey Fek,

What do you think of Uggs? I know they have been around for a while but I have never had the desire to buy them. I usually just wear Skechers, Asics, or Nikes. My wife got a pair of Uggs for me for Christmas and I really like them.

Could you please explain to me what advantages these have over a Timex...Thanks in advance...

ha ha, very funny. I've been a vintage watch collector since the mid 70's when I sold them in one of my retail stores. I only carried about 20 at a time that I got from a very large Florida dealer. Rolex, Breitling, Cartier, Patek Philippe to name a few. Guess it's in my blood. Think I currently have about 15 or so.

I know these shoes/sandals are probably not "high" class enough, but I love em. Wear em with shorts, jeans, khakis, anything but my suits.

when i'm layin' there an thinkin' bout my life it will be about the places
i've been ....the people i have met.... the things i have done....the "stuff "is useless....
Time is the most precious commodity we have ..and how you get to spend it

I've never had a pair of Uggs. My problem with most of the slippers they make with the shearling lining is it's too damn hot for my sweaty ass hobbit feet. :0008
Those women's boots, a lot of people made a lot of money on them. A lot.

Are you in the shoe business? Anything Kenneth Cole fits me perfect.

Yeah I am, and really you hit the nail on the head. Fit>Craftsmanship>Style are the three things I consider with footwear, and in that order. So if you have a brand that fits you well, stick with. I just think everyone deserves to have 1 or 2 pairs of handcrafted, non-China, shoes in their closet. For a guy that nice pair of shoes can last 5 years with light use and the right care. :0008
