A few tips

Like i said would pass on what I get and what I would of played, but I am done for the week, here are 3 tips and 1 play i would of took and working on a couple totals.

Tips

UNR+8 Don't see it but then again i was going to take unr all week and said that and talked myself in to mich.st so who knows but unr can play i do know that and they won't lay down or quit.

SYRACUSE ML +137 Once again i myself would not of touched this game which maryland team comes to play would of been my hold back.

St.Joes-6.5 same here i think tech would be the side just because think conf and better tested team , but st.joes have herd it all year and did what i thought they would do in the first half of first game but to me this is another tough call either way, seems easier to take the points IMO.

Tex+1 just feel like horns will get off going and find some holes in the unc deff.

have not played hoops until the tourney.... after reading up a bit and following some on the board,i`m pulling a profit so far in the tourney...and i`ll probably stop here...

...i`ve found that the first round is usually profitable(for me),then it gets ridiculously tough.......don`t think i`m gonna go with the old anti-consensus from here on out as i usually do...calling it a short day while i`m ahead..

not here to make a pick...i haven`t played all year and i pity anybody that would follow this "greenhorn".....

but i follow the acc....and you made an excellent comment on the unc defense....they have some lights out offensive talent....but,the really don`t play great "d"....

how is the longhorn defense?.....i gather not all that good,either...anybody care to opine?

GW really did not follow that conf much i tend to stay with the small and mid major schools just like fb the smaller the conf and schools the better i like them, but the few times i did see the horns they played good deff and scored well , then saw them down the stretch 2 games were their off was just not there it was ok.st and princeton games, i could understand the last game not putting on a off show and against ok.st they just could not buy a hoop at one point, but like i said the little i did see them at least their deff was there for most of the game, again ok.st lit them up but they were just on fire at one point hitting everything they put up, unc has a deff it just seems they go through a laps here and there and it hurts them. but not well rounded with these teams like i am the smaller schools and really don't care to be. I myself have found much easier for me to stay away from the big name confrences, but that is what works for me, there should be enough fans and handicappers here who do know these 2 much better then me , but that is my take for what little i know on tx.

Bosie.st ov 153.5 hell if they did not mind running with unlv which they poped , don't see them back down against wisc.mil who has no problem in playing track on the wood.

have to admit to playing the red raiders +7(buy) and okie st-6 on sunday..and taking a very hard look at manhattan +7....not sure if i can pull the trigger there...wake has struggled mightily down the stretch....big admirer of the okie st club....tough "d'...multiple scoring options and ball handlers....have a play on them to get out of the bracket(pitt or wisky will be very difficult...particularly wisky with the absurd home court advantage as a 6th seed).....

what was the selection committee thinking when they made that blunder?...

Was going to go to a baseball game hs, there is a kid I want to see that pops it 90-93 with great movement out here but to damn hot it is already 91 that sucks it is mid march and I am blowing money on ac for the last week. So staying in and will watch games and some movies here is one more I would of played .

Stanford un 133.5 or 133 if any halftimes jump out I will post what I like.

I would make a small play on zags-9.5 2nd half unit if I was playing.

Going out to dinner and Rod Stewart show at the Hard Rock, Not something i really want to do but It was either go here tonight with Jeri or miss Pitt on sunday to see some brodway production called rent at the Aladdin on Sunday so i choose going to Rod Stewart. later on enjoy the rest of your day.

No when I shut down I shut down, learned along time ago from blowing money in the bank if you are going to do this as your job, you got to know when to take your profit and paycheck for the week because that is what is it to me and stop, yes would of made some more money not a ton more but not bad, but also would of risk losing some of my payday for the week which was very very good and would of been a fool to keep going.

Glad you did ok with them I really do like to see others win, hell i would love to see everyone win, sometimes people think this is all about who is the best, it is far from that it is about 1 thing beating the book, who cares if someone does better then you as long as you are getting your money that meets your needs.

There were some great games this weekend very good games better then i have seen in a long time I could be wrong and just have a short memory, but that uab game just topped it off, you had nv which i have said all year is a good team doing the same, and hats off to xavier, i said I would of took miss.st just thought they would out muscle them, so games were great, even games like pitt yes i am pulling for them:shrug: vandy in the sweet 16 just makes a nice mix of some new faces, next week should be real fun, would be nice to see a few new teams in the championship game who has not been there for awhile, hate to say it but think duke will be there would like to see someone else, just to mix things up seems like they are there so much and not to take anything away from a great program but would be fun to see some new faces in the game or at least a mid major school that would really be great.

what you posted is so very true. this is the premier forum on the net by FAR .....but every now and then, jealousy creeps in and rears its head, ultimately leading to inconsequential bullshit.

its cliche-ish to say "its us against the books" but its absolutely true and we would all be better off to really understand that, not just have it be the "forum mantra" that we throw out there just to diffuse conflict.

let those other bullshit sites beat up on one another and see who can piss the farthest and who has the biggest dick. as long as we come out on the plus side, it shouldnt matter what anyone else is doing, good or bad
