A Kazaalite Question

Ok I'm clueless.

After watching a d/led movie my player runs out and stops.
for instance I was watching Bruce Almighty and where it got to the wifes boobs getting bigger, the player reached the end and the movie stopped.

Sup with that & do you know the remedy ?

usually the movies are broken down into two or three separate downloaded parts...

if you use kazaa, make sure you download bruce almighty 1 (first half of movie) and bruce almighty 2 (second half of movie)

in regards to lord of the rings the two towers...i think it's 4 parts....

anyone noticing using kazaa when you DL certain movies they're NOT the ones you THOUGHT you downloaded?????

TV.... thats because of the dumbass's out there that think its funny to share their movies but change the names of them on their comp to trick others out there.... to waste our time downloading them to find out its not the movie we wanted....

if you don't have the newest version of Kazzaa lite then go get it... it allows you to preview movies before you download all of it... I know on previous versions I could preview songs but not movies... with the new version I can preview the movies too.... saves you the hastle of downloading the full movie to find out its something else...

Well if Brand Pitt stars in the Matrix then it might be the right movie. I was trying to download Matrix reloaded and it turned out to be ?The Fight Club?. With Kazaa you never know :shrug:

download the new Kazzalite Wolf.... then start downloading the movie... and once you have a MB or 2... then go to tools... AVI PREVIEW... and then u can watch the intro and make sure its the right movie before you go on to download it all...

Korn man i just downloaded 20Mbs and and i got an error from Avi Preview while trying to open it. It popups an error saying it does not support the format or something like this. Whats wrong ? Do i have to copy it before trying to open it or is the file bad ?

Try using the Tools.... K-DAT.....

That has worked for me aswell..

try them both...


doesn't mean its a bad file.... you just have to have the right chunk of it..... maybe out of the 20 MB you downloaded you didn't get the first Chunk.... all depends how it divides it for you when u download it...

anyways try the K-DAT and let me know if that works...

WTF i tried to download matrix reloaded about ten times. I got Star Wars, Lord Of the Rings, American Pie, a Sweedish porn movie and a lot of other crap instead. Any ideas how to find the movie ? Is it better to download the hole movie in a 700mb file or in 2 parts ?

How do I preview a media file?

I don't recommend you use Kazaa to preview a media file. If it works for you, that's great, but there are a lot of people who have problems with it.

To preview a file, wait until you have downloaded at least 500 KB of the file (for big files, such as movies of couple of Megabyte is better). Then pause the download.

Option 1:
Copy the file to another directory. (Like My Documents) Then change the extension to the correct one (.mp3 .avi .mpg etc.). Then play it in Windows Media Player (or another player). For some movie files this will not work. If so, try option 2.



Option 2:
Open your partial downloaded movie with VideoLAN or AVI Preview. You don't even need to copy or rename it. Just open the .dat file.

Why can?t I preview a certain media file?

There are two main reasons for this:
- Some media files cannot be previewed because of their nature. MP3 and MPEG should play, AVI does not always work. See the topic above for some players that can play incomplete AVI files.
- The file is in use. Watching or playing the file while it downloads isn't possible. If you tried playing it in the Kazaa theatre before you tried another videoplayer, it might also be in use. Close Kazaa and try ag

The download takes longer than Kazza, but picture quality is alot better. Then again, if you want to burn them to VCD of SVCD, you'll need NERO (software) to burn the movies/music. I use Emule mainly for movies and use WinMx for music. I also check on www.VCDQUALITY.com to check who has the latest releases and what quality of the release it is. Usually don't download it unless it's an 8.0 or higher. Also, most movies out in the theatres are bin and cue files and not mpg, so you will not be able to preview them while they are downloading. To answer your question about partial movies, you might have gotten a bad file where parts of the movie might be corrupt or that's all the person you were uploading from had. All movies in sharereactor's forum are complete and you will not run into things like that. Best of luck.
