Have an opportunity to pick up either a glock 23 or glock 27 for a price I cant refuse. Can only get one and was wondering if there is any performance difference or if it was just a size and rounds held difference. All things equal, which would you recommend for the guy that shoots beer cans from time to time and carry in vehicle Thanks:0074

Ultimately, this will come down to your conceal carry needs and whether the Glock 27 feels comfortable in your hand, as it is small. The only differences between the two is barrel length, capacity, and size. Larger mags fit in both pistols. You can also get an extension for the Glock 27 so your little finger will fit on the grip.

Hope this helps

here is my advise

dont get a glock

too many jams with Glocks and I have shot alot of them.'

Save the money and get a Sig Sauer 9 mm

and be done with it.

Throw the Sig in the river when you take it out of the box, pull it out , load it, and put the rounds in the middle of a target.

Best most reliable gun made.

Designed for the U.S. Army and carried by U.S. Navy SEALs, Texas Rangers and many other elite military and law enforcement professionals, the SIG SAUER? P226? has earned its place in the highest class of production pistols.

If you are going to get a gun, get one that will work if you ever need it.

New Sig 9 mm runs about 1100 bucks.

Get one in a gun shop used for about 600

Get a used Glock for 400

I've never given any thought about carrying a weapon.

But, what are the rules about carrying one in your car? Loaded.

.................................................................

rules vary state to state

if you are going to carry a gun in your car , you just need to make the effort to get a concealed weapons permit.

It aint worth the hassle of a cop asking you if you have any weapons. It goes something like this.

Hello officer why did you stop me.

Cop - you were going 40 in a 35

OK then

Cop yu dont have any guns, drugs, tanks, grenads in the car do you ?

wife - we have a gun in the glove box

cop - cop steps back fast and draws down on you pointing his weapon at your head.

Uh its not loaded officer

Cop get out of the car now you piece of shit''

well yu get the picture

This is the exact gun I have. I bought it from my mother in 1987 and my step dad bought it in 80. I want something smaller. I just saw a price on this thing for $800, is that right? If so, it's for sale if anybody is interested.

I guess it doesn't hurt anything to get a license to carry

I just don't know Jack..

Crime rate continues to grow in a society built to do just the opposite.

I have delayed a purchase and of course lessons for quite some time..

I have 2 ultra qualified instructors who are neigbors and friends.

both work at a Range..ain't like I can't learn the safe and proper way to be armed .

I have only been stopped one time by a cop and asked if I had any weapons in the car.

My response with my hands on the steering wheel was

I do have weapon in the glove box that I use for self defense. It is not loaded but the magazine is next to it with bullets in it.

I have a concealed carry in my possesion.

Cop - OK bitch get out of the fawking car

It's easy as hell in Indiana.

I filled out the application online and it's been submitted.

I have an appointment to get fingerprinted Tuesday morning and if my background check is approved I will have my license in 2-4 weeks.

Even if I wanted a Sig there is no way I could go that direction given the price I am getting. One of my friends who has zero interest in guns got these when his dad passed and he is basically looking to get them out of the house.
