A little praise for good companies

I saw a rating today for the top airlines for domestic flights. I'm probably in the majority that cringes anytime they have to call or deal with an airline (barring the example below). Well, what shocked me is that one of my favorite companies as far as personal satisfaction, Southwest Airlines, was ranked 10th. I was really shocked to see how low they were.

Anyway, the point of the post is garhishing opinions on companies that some of you really have enjoyed dealing with over an extended period of time. I basically have three that I can think of:

1. Southwest Airlines -- hold time on phone is generally less than 3-5 minutes; flights are cheap; flights are on-time; and booking online only take 4 round trip flights to earn a free round trip ticket.
2. Holiday Inn Express -- consistent; fair price to surrounding market; free wireless internet (at most); great continental breakfast; better than average room
3. Bank of America -- internet banking options; internet banking options; internet banking options

Anyone else have their personal favorites? Let's keep this as positive experiences. We could go on for years about companies who are typically very poor at customer service.

Anytime I have had problems they get it fixed right away and on most occassions they have comped me for my troubles with 3 months free of Starz or Showtime

Bank of America - they backed me up no questions asked when someone someone hacked my party poker account and swindled money from my account.

Any business or frequent travelers out there have a rental car company that they enjoy dealing with? I have used Alamo mostly, and they just don't get it. I think this industry would catch more flack if more leisure travellers used rental cars.

Interesting thread Dawgball -

Mitsubishi and Sony - Have always been pleased with their products and customer service.

Playboy - Have always been pleased with their reader friendly quality of magazine.

Southwest Airlines - Best airline in the sky, great customer service, if they only flew out of DCA b/c America West Sucks.

Canon - Quality products, great customer service.

There was a recent post complaining about them in the GD forum, but I have always been impressed with the customer service of Dell Computers. My Mom has had a few issues with her computer over the last few years, and I've haven't lived close enough to help her out, so she's had to call Dell. She knows NOTHING about computers, and they have always had infinite patience and helped her step-by-step and got the problem fixed each time. I've tried helping her with her computer over the phone, and that is no small feat.

Verizon's the first one that comes to mind for me. I use them for Dsl and phone services and any questions or problems have always been handled professionally and courteously.
