As a Longhorn fan, I better get used to annual ass stompings from Sooner land for atleast the next 5 years. They are on the verge of nabbing Texas' Top 3 recruits in the State if Okam joins them. And yes, that would also be the NATIONAL #1 RB recruit and NATIONAL #1 QB recruit in our own backyard.

Looks like Mack is finished and the top players in the state of Texas can see right through him and his false advertisement of an elite and championship program.

GINN IS AWESOME. Ohio St. got a really really good player in him. USC and Pete Carroll wanted him badly. He almost came to USC, and I was told the only reason he went to OSU was his family. That was it. USC also going after another awesome player in Ohio in WR DAVIS. Hopefully he will leave home (most said he is more likely too than Ginn).

USC #1 Recruit wish list was BYERS (the center for WEST). USC got him. Most say he is the best OL to come out of high school last 10-20 years. Ginn was USC 2nd on wish list.

USC also came very very close to getting Peterson despite not really needing his services (boy is he gonna be good for OU). But Peterson made the right choice. USC is already loaded at RB and OU is not. Both schools have the best coaching staffs so he could not go wrong except USC has already a frosh RB better than Peterson (BUSH) and another frosh RB (White) who is almost as good as Peterson, then another frosh who is stud, and a sophmore who is a stud. So USC is jammed at RB. Peterson gonna be a stud though.

USC is recruiting all 3 of the best WR's in that game and all 3 have USC top 2 and all 3 favor USC as #1. JARRET, COLVIN, and DAVIS. USC might get verbals from all 3. :D That is not fair, USC got 2 of the best WR in nation last year, and USC already has Mike Williams. OUCH!

Side note, I was not impressed by the QB going to OU. The QB i was impressed with is the one going to Michigan. He will be very good.

FIGHT ON!!!!!!!!!

Reggie Bush is already a Heisman contender along with Lienart and Mike Williams at USC. He is only going to be a soph. next year. He can run and catch better than almost anyone. Plus he can return kicks too. What is going to hurt Bush is he has major competition with the RB's already at USC and has 2 other Heisman contenders on the team.

Come on Homer...err, I mean Scott. USC surely must have at least 5 or 6 Heisman contenders next year.

Vegas and online sportsbooks have 3 USC Trojan football players on their list to win the Heisman.

1) QB Matt Lienart
2) WR Mike Williams
3) RB Reggie Bush

I guess Vegas is a USC HOMER TOO.

You people who call me a homer are hilarious. I love it when everything i say about USC comes true (i even bet my account on it). Yep, i guess i still am a USC homer, and vegas is too.
Well, i do enjoy being a wealthy homer!!!!!!!!

FIGHT ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well you can scratch mike williams off the list from the get-go. hes not as good as randy moss or larry fitzgerald and neither of them won it.

leinart has a very realistic shot at the heisman. would have the think it might be his to lose

Of course they list them...most of em list like 30-50 guys, most of whom have no shot. It's called sucking in $$$ on silly action bets. I'm sure based on talent, hype, and your USC fandom they look like solid candidates, so let me ask you...when was the last time a WR or a sophomore won the Heisman?

First of all, that list has 19 candidates, not 30-50.

I never said I was betting on them. However i have won money the last 2 years betting on who wins the heisman but i only bet it 1 week/days prior. Thanks to site www.heismanodds.com

G-Man

Mike Williams IMO is def. better than larry fitzgerald. Without question. Randy Moss I say is better than Mike Williams only because he is faster. Remember, Mike Williams has to share the spotlight with USC other 7-8 weapons. No DB can cover Mike Williams by himself. I have never seen Williams shut down. I have seen Fitzgerald shut down, and just happens to be against the 3 top teams he faced. Interesting. Plus Fitz is useless catching the short passes. I never see him do so at Pitt. Ex. screen passes.

I agree, the Heisman is Lienarts to lose next year. USC loses 3 OL this year and Lienart is not mobile. So that could be a problem for USC the first 3-4 games. However, Carroll recruited the #1 JC OL, and has young talent as backups.

Scott, Williams had to share the spotlight with alot of other talent agreed. This in turn opens things up for the guy, where as Fitzgerald was the only weapon Pitt had. This allowed teams to concentrate on him with double and triple teams. Both are great players but Fitz in my opinion is the better receiver this year.

GOOD POINT, except USC takes what teams give you. UCLA single covered Mike Williams and destroyed them. Williams was doubled teamed against Michigan and he still caught the balls. Teams cannot take Williams out of any game. It is just matter if USC wants to throw him the ball or not.

NFL scouts have already said Williams will be a #1 pick and that he is the best WR in the nation. So i am not alone. Also remember Williams was banged up this year too.

Good news for USC is he said he wants to stay all 4 years. Not many players will leave USC early because a degree from USC means something and players love playing for Carroll. I hope Udeze stays next year, but i heard he might leave. Lienart said he is staying all 5 years at USC.

First of all, most of the hype about players that I have heard is all about Fitz. Most of the so called experts claim him to be the best player in college football. Willaims is a great player and he is very successful in the system that he is involved in. Secondly, a degree to a first round draft pick is just something to hang on the wall. They will be all set for life with the money that these players earn today. Will see at the end of next year when Williams is able to declare for the draft what his decision will be. I have a feeling with the success of the program that he will be gone because as the famous saying goes I have done all I can at this level and its time to move on.

Guess not, you actually had me convinced that you were beleaving that crap that you were saying.

I just quoted Mike Williams. If I was going to be a top 10 draft pick, 90% sure, I would leave. So I do not blame them for leaving. I would not leave if I was not going to be a top 10 draft pick.
