Ok, here are the two "championship" games:

10* LSU +7
Even though Oklahoma demolished everyone in their path until running into the Kansas St buzzsaw, I look for LSU to win this game straight-up, and the National Championship along with it. The Sooners will never be able to run on the LSU defense, forcing White to win the game with his passing. Can he do it? I doubt it. The Tigers are loaded, and I consider them every bit as talented as the Sooners. Stoops is probably the best coach in college football at this point, but he will meet his match in Saben. Question is can LSU score on the Sooners' great defense? It won't be easy, but the Tigers have as good an OL as the Sooners have seen, and fleet RBs will be coming out of the woodwork. I also rate the Tigers' Clayton a bit higher than the Sooners' Clayton. You'll see why when you watch the game. This will be one of the great championship gamesof our time, and I am looking forward to it very much. I look for a close, hard-fought game, with the Tigers coming out on top at the end.

As you know from above I also have a:
5* on under 49

and a Teaser on: LSU +13.5, under 56.

7* Michigan +7
USC has had a very impressive year, but when I look at their schedule I feel that they haven't played anyone. That might not go over well with Pac-10 people, but other than the Trojans, there are no great teams in the Pac-10 this year. Michigan, on the other hand, no doubt feel very disrespected. They dominated last season's champion in their last game, and will be up to the challenge against the Trojans. I look for this one to be much closer than many think, with the outcome undecided until late in the 4th quarter. Either team is capable of winning this one, although I think USC will prevail, but not by much.

More on today's, and other games, to come.

Guys, I have not been doing well with the games I am playing a short time before kickoff. I am doing much better with the games I had strong feelings for originally, and that I posted a while ago. Therefore I have taken all the bowl games I am going to take, at least through New Year's Day. After that, I will take a closer look at the remainding games.

The bowls coming up are the games I feel most strongly about -- beginning with Texas Tech tonight, which was posted over a week ago. I will be away from my computer until sometime New Year's night. For now, the following games are the ones I feel have the best chances of covering.

For your convenience, the remaining games I have plays on are as follows, with the spreads as I played them. Write-ups for all these games are in previous posts of this same thread.

10* Minnesota -3
10* Arkansas -2
10* Florida -3
10* Georgia -3
10* Florida St -1
10* LSU +7
7* Auburn -3
7* Southern Miss +2
7* Boston College pk
7* West Virginia +4
7* Michigan +7
7* Ole Miss -1

Best of luck to everyone who reads this, and may this New Year be the happiest and most prosperous of your entire life.

:)

Since I'll be away, I hope someone will give my thread a friendly bump now and then, so that it does not sink out of sight. Thank you.

Still here, about to leave until New Year's night.

I am raising my bet on Arkansas to a 10*

Guys, disregard my bowl plays to this point. Watch closely what happens with these last twelve, posted just above. This is where we will make our money.

Adding one more teaser:
Arkansas +3.5, over 47.

A friendly bump now and then to keep me on the first page until I get back will be much appreciated.

Enjoy the New Year!

Hey Reb. I really like your Florida selection. I have watched every Iowa Hawkeye game this year and Florida has to be licking their chops at the Iowa secondary. I know Sanders is healthy, but it seems that they just play way off the recievers the first ten yards. The coaching staff of Florida has to see this and throw short passes all day long.

Good Luck

I'm back, guys. Thanks for the friendly bumps. I really appreciate that.

So far 2-2 on 10*s, which is better than losing my arse I guess. Nice wins with Arkansas and Georgia, but crummy calls on Florida and Minn, although I thought Minn should have covered.

10* on FSU tonight. Big game. I like it. Good luck.
