"There seemed to be a death-like stillness about me. Then I heard subdued sobs, as if a number of people were weeping. I thought I left my bed and wandered downstairs. There the silence was broken by the same pitiful sobbing, but the mourners were invisible Determined to find the cause of a state of things so mysterious and so shocking, I kept on until I arrived at the East Room, which I entered. There I met with a sickening surprise. Before me was a catafalque, on which rested a corpse wrapped in funeral vestments. Around it were stationed soldiers who were acting as guards; and there was a throng of people, gazing mournfully upon the corpse, whose face was covered, others weeping pitifully. 'Who is dead in the White House?' I demanded of one of the soldiers. 'The President,' was his answer; 'He was killed by an assassin.' Then came a loud burst of grief from the crowd, which woke me from my dream."

Kennedy's assassination
On the morning of 22 November 1963, Jackie Kennedy was unnerved by a full-page ad placed in the Dallas Morning News -- not so much because it accused the president of being a Communist sympathizer but rather because it had a black border and resembled a death notice. JFK tried to comfort her with the words: "We?re heading into nut country today. But, Jackie, if somebody wants to shoot me from a window with a rifle, nobody can stop it, so why worry about it?" That Kennedy made such a comment about his own assassination on the day he was shot is coincidence enough, but that he so casually predicted the precise method of his death is nothing short of sinister.

Ginger, a Welsh Cob horse, was reported missing by owner Doctor Gerard Bingham on July 9 from the family stables.

But after making an appeal to the public for help in finding the horse, images were posted on social media of a horse lying dead in a field full of Ragwort, a plant poisonous to horses.

The dead horse was identified online as Ginger.

With the body of the horse believed to be Ginger, Facebook users were angered when they realised she may have died from the poison after grazing in a field.

According to local residents, her foal, Princess, was found close by and appeared to be distressed.

It is not yet known who is responsible for the horse?s death and an investigation is currently underway.

?A body of a horse was found - but it was too decomposed to establish the cause of death. Police and Animal Health are currently looking into this as well.?

The Bingham family appealed for help when Mr Bingham said he believed his Welsh cob had been stolen by thieves from the stables in Chantrey Court as part of an organised operation to sell horses for meat.

He said that he thought thieves had come to mark the animal and shave some hair from her face before returning to take her from the stables at a later date.

Ragwort is a yellow plant that begins to appear at the end of Autumn, flowering between May and October.

The plant causes irreparable damage and liver failure to horses.

?We have had one of their agents down and he has been very helpful and supportive.?

Damn, I just wish you were my best friend so I could hang out and you would be the life of the party!!

Carry on, forehead boy. This resembles your forehead perfectly. Go ahead, make up a cupcake joke to make the forum erupt with laughter.
