palin is as qualified as obama ..... think about that ! I don't understand how anyone can believe that.....but I do know some people think like that.....for any one that does...do you think she could earn her parties nomination if she was part of the field that ran for president this year.....

me saying Palin is as qualified does not mean she would even be in my top 100 for people to be POTUS. Who cares if she could earn her party's nomination? I hate meaningless scenarios.

How can you honestly say that? Just listen to Obama like or dislike him he has a strong understanding of all the issues. Can you say that of Mrs. Palin?

strong understanding? I can understand mathematics but still come away with the wrong solution to any chosen problem if I miscalculate though, right? Given years to prepare like Obama, I'm sure Palin would toe her party line just as strongly as Obama. That means nothing either.

He is clearly a very intelligent man. A Columbia grad, a Havard Law grad, a constitutional law professor. Palin attended numerous 4th rate colleges and has nothing further than a BS that took her 6 years to achieve. But she was a sideline sports reporter...I guess that is close to being a law professor.

You'd have to be an idiot to deny how smart and charismatic Mr. Obama is. I totally agree with that. However, where you go to school means absolutely nothing. Lots of educated dummies running around who can barely tie their shoes and most certainly couldn't even change the air filter on their car should that need arise. bfd.

Only on a political experience level how can you say she is more qualified:

7 years a state senator, 4 years a US Senator vs 6 years as a mayor of town of less than 10,000 & a Gov for less than 2 years of our least populated state.

 sounds like just as many qualifications to me especially since Obama hasn't even really been in office during the whole campaign. She's also not running for POTUS!

Listen, for the thousandth time on here, I don't like either candidate. I'm really resigned to the fact that Obama is going to win too. I hope he does a great job. I love my country, and I want it to excel in every way. I'll respect him as much as I have Ronald Reagan or any other great historical president. Time will tell.

I ask this in all seriousness...

How concerned are you that there is a very real potential if by electing McCain that Sarah Palin may be our President sometime in the next 4 years.

While I can respect your views on wanting to elect McCain, I honestly can not believe anyone seriously thinks this women is ready or capable of running our country, especially with the current state of our nation. Does this not scare you?

No, in fact she is the only reason that I am voting for McCain. I was for Mitt Romney.

Palin is way more qualified than Obama.

What has Obama run, has he had to make payroll, fire people, work with other Governors, etc...

Palin has been been a mayor and governor of Alaska. Hell yeah she is more qualified than Obama.
