gl with this one...

The paragraph below is most unusual. How quickly can you find out what is so unusual about it? It looks so ordinary you'd think nothing was wrong with it - and in fact, nothing is wrong with it. It is unusual though. Why?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Gatsby was walking back from a visit down in Branton Hill's manufacturing district on a Saturday night. A busy day's traffic had had its noisy run; and with not many folks in sight, His Honor got along without having to stop to grasp a hand, or talk; for a mayor out of City Hall is a shining mark for any politician. And so, coming to Broadway, a booming bass drum and sounds of singing, told of a small Salvation Army unit carrying on amidst Broadway's night shopping crowds. Gadsby, walking towards that group, saw a youg girl, back toward him, just finishing a long, soulful oration ... "
The above passage is taken from the book "Gatsby" written by Ernest Vincent Wright in the late 1930's

Ajoy....I can't tell what you misspelled and what is different. Can you edit and retype so I can try to figure it out?

"Two grandmothers, with their two granddaughters;
Two husbands, with their two wives;
Two fathers, with their two daughters;
Two mothers, with their two sons;
Two maidens, with their two mothers;
Two sisters, with their two brothers;
Yet only six in all lie buried here;
All born legitimate, from incest clear."

Explain this - how is everyone related

it is two boy toys married to each others mothers. they each had children (daughters) the men are brother, the women are sisters, and the sons both had daughters. (yes, may be able to explain this better later....LOL)

AJT, your official answer took it further than my answer ever could have took it tonight. i was still under the *assumption* that the boy toys already had daughters of their own, not that they had them with the mama's that they married. (guess that would have made it two *step* grandma's tho)
