Reports coming out from multiple sources through SI.

All they are saying at this point is:

A number of sources have told SI that A-rod tested postive for two types of anabolic steriods in 2003 while playing for the Texas Rangers.

personally i am prob. in the minority in saying I dont not care what people put in their own bodies. further, the league and owners knew damn well what was going on and turned a blind eye to it. he cheated as did others according to public opinion and RULES of MLB and he has to pay a price for that but i personally could care less what athletes choose to put in their bodies there are bigger issues to tackle IMO.

all that being said....my eyes tell me Nomar and Jason Varitek are somewhere on some document as coming up dirty so to speak.

I think i read somewhere that steroid use wasnt prohibited in 2003 (it wasnt on the rules yet or something like that) either way i'd like to see the story backed up.

Tejada charged with lying about steroids

All-Star shortstop Miguel Tejada has been charged with lying to Congress about steroids. Tejada is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday where he is expected to plead guilty.

The charges against Tejada, who currently plays for the Houston Astros, were outlined in documents filed in Washington federal court on Tuesday.

The documents indicate that a plea agreement has been reached with Tejada.

Messages left for his attorney, Mark Tuohey, were not immediately returned.

The documents were filed a day after superstar Alex Rodriguez admitted to past use of performance enhancing drugs.
