Ohhhhh.....The quarterback position. That coveted spot where you get all the notoriety, the cutest cheerleaders, and the fattest contracts. The heroes of our favorite teams, leading them to victory on the crisp fall/early winter Sudays throughout the NFL season. That position fought for by countless numbers and given to the most deserving after endless practices, scrimmages, and pre-season games. They beat out the best and are now chosen to bring the Vince Lombardi trophy to our favorite cities. Quick to receive all the accolades and praise bestowed upon them in their quest to become the general that leads his charges to the ultimate goal. They can't all have Tom Brady seasons yet they thirst for that recognition that will label them a member of the elite circle.

Yet be prepared to accept the wrath of many disgruntled gamblers when you play like a high school quarterback whose mind is obviously on the cheerleaders and his game plan after the game instead of concentrating on what's taking place on the field. Get your head outta your azz!!!!

We don't expect all qb's to reach the standards set by the cream of the crop but could you at least be accountable for your key role and give us a clue as to why you were put in the leadership position???

Eli Manning.....

Having big brother at the game put too much pressure on your fragile little hinne? Or did you throw the four interceptions just for him to help ease his nightmare memories of his six against the Chargers? In case you missed it in the pre-game plan or it just slipped your mind....your team was in the blue jerseys for the game. And speaking of the Chargers....bet you wish you were there now don't you you little snob :mj07: You were as bad yesterday as you were last year when I had you for my fantasy league qb. Thanks again for that!!!

:thefinger Here's my salute to you Eli ;142loser:

Gus Frerotte....

Sure you were thrown in the game in a backup role, but that's what they pay you for. Not too many qb's in the big league miss a pass to a wide open receiver just five yard away. I went outside after that play to find my remote and saw the eight year old neighbor boy tossing 'em to his dad with more accuracy than a leader in the NFL displayed. But you still had three chances to atone yourself. Second and third down was not your fault so the organization hitches its' wagon to you to be the hero on fourth down......and what do you do?? Jon Madden preached over and over again last week about never messing up the exchance between the qb and center. Too bad you didn't get the memo.

:thefinger Here's my salute to you Gus ;142loser:

And Marc Bulger, you're not off the hook in this one either. You've had more injuries in the last couple years than the weekly total of pounds lost in NBC's the "Biggest Loser." Now there's a good title for this thread. Ever consider to switching to a two-hand touch league?

Kurt Warner....

WTF?? Too bad it took a delay of game penalty on the potential winning field goal to accentuate your ineptness. Why couldn't you have just taken the safety (I didn't need the 10 to cover, just a +3 for my teaser :mj16: ) instead of fumbling. Never that much pressure packing groceries was there. I didn't see the game but saw and heard many rants about your performance against the lowly niners.

:thefinger Here's my salute to you Kurt ;142loser:

I'm sure there were more overpaid primadonnas that I Didn't have money on yesterday that were just as efficient in guiding their teams. Feel free to add to the list :mj07:

Kyle Boller......

It's hard to imagine you being on any NFL team's payroll :cursin: How you can accept a check from the Ravens is beyond me

The way you played last night you should be receiving this week's salary from the Colts :mj07:

:thefinger Here's my salute to you Kyle ;142loser:

I know Palmer and Young didn't receive much praise yesterday but I didn't follow them as I had no wager on their games......except the Rams and Chargers :00hour
