What do you all think to having a seperate thread for each game every day? In addition to being able to read individual cappers selections and thoughts, this would give a 'mini-forum' for everyone to post their comments on that matchup/total. Just a thought....

I think it might be too much to do for baseball because of so many games. the individual threads would soon be lost on the 2nd and 3rd pages, plus, there's the very time consuming task, for somebody, to post a new thread for each game every day. i don't think it would work for baseball but is a good idea.
I think I'm going to do it for the NFL and possibly some of the NCAA games but haven't decided on the best format for it. Maybe people can offer their suggestions in this thread?
I'm thinking about doing it like this for the NFL, for example:
-have a separate forum where all the games are listed separately in their own thread.
-there will only be the game threads in that forum. no other threads will be started.
-all week long people can add 'any' little tidbit of info for that particular game under that thread.
-no picks or predictions are allowed. picks and bets are posted in the regular forum. this would just be an info, stats, trends, weather, match-up, etc. forum.
-all week long everybody post as much helpful info as possible on each game.
hell, i'm getting excited just thinking about it. i think i'll have a new forum up for week 1 exibition games soon.
any other suggestions?

This is exactly what I had in mind when I posted. I agree, baseball would be too tedious, and when someone wants to talk about a specific game, they start a thread about it anyway.
For football I think this will be invaluable. Collectively we will make the man hurt this football season! The example you laid out seems perfect. I can think of nothing to add.
