I am very sorry for your loss Maverick. I lost my grandfather last week and I was very close with him. But we all know they are in a better place right and God is watching over them.

Mav,sorry for your loss.Reading everyones responses here made me think of my father who passed away 5 yrs ago.It is a difficult time and we all react differently to our emotions.Share those memories and experinces of her life.
My father was a Manhattan College graduate.He wore his MC ring since 1936, the yr he graduated.I have that ring on a chain on my bedpost.I kiss that ring everynite before I get into bed.Every nite that is a reminder to me of my fathers life and the role he played in it.

Its such a pleasant feeling to be in the company of such great and caring people...........I thank everyone so much for the kind words and blessings.........it really helps me a lot during this time........Thank you so much
sorry to hear that Mav......lost my dad some time ago...not a easy event to get thru but you will....keep the faith and think of all the good things you got to experience with her...it will make you smile...
