Kramer - Glad to hear she made it! A lot of my friends are stuck here for Christmas - flights cancelled...and I feel bad for all the people stuck at the airport. Many will not make it out on one of the busiest weekends of the year.
Shoveled for about 7 hours on Thursday (yes, I can still hardly move), then had the good fortune to have some huge jeeps come by our road and notice our plight - they carved some tracks for us (and had a lot of fun doing it!), then a guy down the street saw us and came with his snowblower and made us a little road! Gotta love good community in times like this. Leaving in a few minutes...driving east and hoping the highways are in OK shape.
Well, slow progress is better than no progress!
