Thought the same thing, I know they splice together footage of the World Series, but damn that guy was lucky as hell, come from behind time after time and makes stupid calls and get paid off. You would think that at some point one of the 5000+ entrants would have taken him down before he made it so far.

I was actually in Vegas while the final table was going on, and my buddy and I thought about going by just to see what it was like there, but never got around to it. But if I had a friend that was at the final table, I would definitely be there if I were in town.

I tell ya I listened to the Cardplayer audio cast live that night while playin a tourney online. It had Hellmuth, Negranau, and several others popping in and out. It was great. I think if i had friend in it or a piece of someone in it I would be there.

I have downloaded the audio from the Cardplayer website and I have listened to it a couple times now. Nice how Hellmuth kept ripping Kanter for the beat he put on Raymer. I hate how Hellmuth is at the table, but I really enjoyed him on the mike. Too bad that they were having conversations and didnt to a full play-by-play and too bad that ESPN won't release a DVD set showing all the hands and the hole cards of the final table.

Did anyone count how many acutal hands ESPN showed of the 231 hands of the final table?
