? about cleaning dvd lens

i have a cleaning disc for my at home dvd player because tou can't see the lens to clean it. but my daughter has one of those portable 7" dvd players that you pop the lid and insert the dvd. well when you pop the lid to insert the dvd the lens is right there. i was just wondering if there is a safe way to clean this lens without using the disc. if anybody knows wpould be appreciated.

Get some of that spray can cleaner the electronics guys use. That's all it takes!!!
