News: Tanaka (7-2) picked up the win Saturday against the Orioles, allowing four runs on eight hits and one walk across 5.1 innings. He struck out seven. (Sat Jun 2)

Spin: Despite picking up his seventh win of the season Saturday, Tanaka's struggles with the long ball persisted, with the veteran right-hander serving up three solo homers to the Orioles. He's now allowed nine homers over his last five starts (26.2 innings) and carries an unsightly 2.0 HR/9 on the year. On top of his struggles with the long ball, Tanaka has struggled to pitch deep into games this season, completing six innings just once in his last five starts. He'll take a 4.79 ERA and 8.7 K/9 into his next start, which will come on the road against Mets.

Sorry if my post caused any confusion MadJackers, just a feeble attempt at a little humor. Thought the Forum could use it as the long Season drags on especially for members like me who bet almost every day. Not often both New York & Sox teams play each other on the same day. For the record I did wager on the New York Yankees -105 & the Chicago White Sox +1.5(+135).

gl D2-don't know how you do it betting every day year around-football--bb- bases-nba-nhl etc. hell ncca fb-- and bb wear me out

Tell myself it's just a hobby Hawk but I know better. Does help pass the time in my situation. Quit working a couple of years ago & move back home to take care of my Parents as their health was in decline. Unfortunately my Father passed away 10/30/2017 so now I'm just caring for my Mother who misses Dad greatly after being married for 55 years. I don't travel much anymore & don't "Run The Streets" til all hours but I'm not complaining. They took care of me growing up so there was no question I'd take care of them when the time came. This obviously leaves me a lot of time during the day to TRY & come up with some winners. :0003 Sorry to ramble on so much Hawk but it feels good to talk about my situation & hope that I'm doing a good job.
