Barth is out for UNC but I think their defense will have a better effort .Fedora will play ball control to keep defense on the bench. Gio will get 35 carries and UNC wins 34-24 to become bowl eligible. Oops... the cheaters have to stay home this year.

Interesting to see you on that side. One half of my brain tells me that I should lay the 3. The other half tells me Carolina has won just a single time in their last 10 trips to Charlottesville. It tells me our secondary is swiss cheese. Then I go back..the GT game is an outlier...Carolina is not necessarily that bad on D but in the last 10 years we have been completely unable to deal with option offenses.

I may play Carolina just to have some action but I also think there's value in the under. As with any game it has the potential to soar over but I think the line is inflated due to over-reaction from the GT game. Again, that had more to do with the option than anything.

One prop I love:

Gio Bernard Rushing Yards O 127' +105

In ACC action, his YPG: 135, 143, 177, 262, 78

The 78 against GT is misleading because Carolina played the entire 2nd half down big and had to throw the ball. Virginia is in the bottom half in run d for yards per carry.

I think tonight they try to use the run game a little more.

Bill Dooley would run Bernard 40 times tonight. I say he gets 34 carries for 235 yards. UVA lost to Wake and Md at home. They should lose tonight if UNC plays an above average game.

wow.. interesting choice for GOY. I see the heels losing straight up. Nothing to play for.. except draft stock. UVA is red hot. Plus we all know UNC never wins there save last year.

You may be right. These are games I cannot lose. 3 times normal play for me be a winner or UNC loses and I am happy but poorer. Look closely at UVA record. They lose 6 in a row with home losses to LaTech, Md and Wake. They catch a NCSU team deflated from UNC game and they are lucky to beat Miami. Unless UNC self destructs and that might happen I think Bernard wears them down. He has a national audience tonight and Fedora should put him on stage. It is raining here but I think the weather is fine there. Do not follow me on any picks unless it is with your beer money.

I like Carolina as well. Virginia may have letdown after last week too. Not that Miami is who they used to be but it was a last second incredible win and the fans rushed the field.

As far as nothing to play for, I disagree. This is Fedora's first year and he is trying to improve a program as well as deal with probation and its important to note that probation is only one year so every win is going to help the immediate future.

As for no bowl this year, that will be tough. The day after Christmas playing a mediocre big east team may never be the same.

Total now at 125.5. I took game to be tied at half but UNC to win plus 1400. I like Renner under 267 as I think Fedora does not want another track meet.

My book now has gio's yardage at 130'. Renner at my book is 268'. Not going to play renner but if I had to choose a side I would go under. I think the success of the Gio prop depends on a decent UNC start. If they are playing from behind they will air it out more. Fedora is a guy with a lot of pride and I'd be surprised if they don't come to play tonight.

Unc has huge talent advantage but UVA may have mental advantage.

Is this coach any better than Torbush. First series and Bernard does not touch the ball. With a weapon like him why start the game passing?

Nice hit lowell. My apologies if I talked you into the Gio prop.
I play too many props and always go over where the smart play is probably under. Bernard may go pro but if he stays there will be heisman talk.
