I'm still feeling my way out on this one. I tried to stay up last night to get the line early because i knew it would move, it opened at unc -7 but is now up to 10 and rising. I would have played it at 7 or 8 but do not feel comfortable laying 10 to tenn. This carolina team has yet to prove anything, they beat a mediocre at best byu team so i'm interested to see how we perform against some competition. I think tenn will have to slow things down against us to keep it tight. I am leaning towards a side on the total but am waiting to see how things move. No play for me on the line, if anything I'll take the points if it creeps up more through the day.

While I think you are overly sensitive about my criticism of Roy, I do have to give you props in that unlike many here you have no hesitation about betting against your team when the situation calls for it. That is the kind of insight folks need around here. Good luck.

If we can dictate the tempo I think this play will hit. If Tenn can slow it down it will fall short, but i like it either way. As far as a side, i'm going to pass because i think the line is where it needs to be. I might have a 2nd half play up depending on the 1st half.

Saint....I think you've nailed it here buddy. I stayed up last night and watched the Tenn/Stan game just to scout out the play for tonight's game. Honestly, I think the Tarheels can push Tenn into a sloppier fast pace brand of basketball. Tenn liked to run when they could against Stanford. I like the over in the first half a lot. And I agree, I shoulda popped in on UNC when it opened. I think the line at 9.5/10 is totally a coin flip.

Lets hope for the both of us we're right I stayed up till 2:15 this morning waiting for the line to come out, and of course i looked this moring and it came out at around 2:25am. I think the line at 9.5 is right on so I can't pick a side but i certainly like the 1st half over. Good luck to us

I feel like tonight's 2nd half situation is almost identical to byu. Up 20 in this case (30 against BYU), I can't see us losing the half straight-up. The only question mark that comes is the 5 mins of bench time that our players will get. The other night they played well and kept BYU in check. This team is not going to come out soft in my opinion, so I'll stake my win in the 1st half on the 2nd half.

again....I can't disagree. I think Roy will have them firing on all cylinders for a strong 2nd half showing. Just have to avoid the late 3 point barrage by Tenn for the backdoor at the end

Honestly....I think the over 79 may be a decent call too.

Yeah I would lean towards the over 79, this half actually started out very slow, the 1st 5 mins were sluggish but in the last 15 they scored a majority of the points in the half. Yesterday Tenn and Stanford combined for 74 points in the 2nd half, our 2nd half we put up 70 total. I prob won't play it but I definitely can make a case for the over. The only hesitation I have is our defense has shut down Tenn pretty much at will but sooner or later they may hit the outside jumpers. Good luck if you play it!
