Any chance your lady friend remembers who she bought that set of chips off of for you? I like the personal stamping and want to get a set, BTW how is the quality of the chips now that you have had them a while?

The chips are unbelievable. They are 11.5 gram, which is heavier than some casinos use for their chips. Absolutely the envy of my poker group I can tell you that. I will find out and post back tonight.

I got the same one's off of ebay, brand new, exact same as the one's acehistr8 got. The picture of the chips Aces posted was the same in the auction. As he said, they are unbelievable. Look on ebay for the 500 11.5g clay chips with the OAK case. I won the auction for mine at 132 bucks, most auctions end for around under 150 (just wait to bid till 10s left, that's what i did). I searched the entire internet and the cheapest I found this set was 400 bucks. I know the co. on ebay, fivestardeal, stamps w/ initials, not sure if his woman did that w/ the same company. Here are some they have up now, make sure to get them from "fivestardeal". They are the distributor so they are cheap and up all the time. Hope this helps...here are a few up now:

Those are the exact same ones. Only difference is she did front and back gold stamping with four different sports logos, probably adds about $300+ to the price with the setup charges. But those are the same chips, you wont be disappointed.

Hey aszhole, if I recall, I made one thread. Then penguinfan started this one specifically asking where I bought them. Why dont you do yourself and all of us a favor by reading the actual thread before you pretend to know what you are talking about.

...got the same set from eBay.... ace is correct...most casinos use the 8.5 gram, but these 11.5's are nice.... heavy and durable.... i didn't have mine stamped, but like saint said, couldn't find them anywhere else for under $400.... brand new off of eBay from "5stardeal" in the oak case.... think i paid about $120 or so for my set.... like saint said, just do a search for "poker chips" and "oak" and you'll find plenty....
