newest version replacing V5.83, just did a scan with V5.83, 2 files found, then did a scan with V6.0, 12 files found...

then click on download from, and voila!

do a scan and see if it found more spyware files then the previous version

I ran my V5.83 (which I run on a regular basis) and it came up with 13. I deleted those and downloaded the new V6.0 and ran a scan with that and it came up with 38!!!

I had adware 5 and completed a scan on Tuesday this week with no files found. Just downloaded version 6 via your link, completed scan and 28 little blighters appeared. Soon zapped them.

what am I scanning for. I downloaded the program and it said it found 128 things, and asked me if I wanted to delete them and I said yes. What exactly is it finding on my computer? Any input would be appreciated.

128??? holy chit, that is a lot....

you had 128 files of spyware on your computers hard drive...

spyware are files that are attached to programs that you download from other websites, even viewing some websites SPYWARE files can be sent to your computer...

now if yopu really want to know in precise detail, just go to www.google.con and enter spyware, you will get a better explanation that I have provided,

but let me say this, spyware is something you don't want on your computer!

I JUST got done installing and scanning it.....I thought I was good with what I download - cuz usually iam careful...but damn it scanned 85 I wasnt too happy to see that :nono:

Last question TTMM, how often should I run this?

depends on how often your downloading video's, programs, etc etc..

I scan at least once a day and find anywhere from 2-5 files on any given day...

its quick to scan so it doesn't hurt once a day if you find it necessary like I do.

Antony, Ran version 5.83, found 11 files, mostly from Gator
I got rid of that program months ago. Ver. 5.83 couldn't get rid of 2 of the embedded Gator files.

Much to my surprise ran 6.0 & found 108 files wtf??

all of these were from manufacturer (tracking company) file type (Mining data) .
