adobe acrobat professional.... help

Does anyone know the difference between adobe acrobat 7.0 professional and standard? Besides The $200 price difference...

I have tried looking around, but cannot seem to find what the major differences are. We need to get it for work, in order to scan and edit documents, but I do not want to pay $200 more if I can get away with using the standard 7.0

any input would be greatly appreciated.

the price difference is well worth it, trust me. The professional can do SO much more than standard. just a few things: you can completley edit pdf's with pro; delete pages, add, combine pdf's to form one doc. you can convert word docs to pdf's with the click of a button, highlight texts etc....i pbly only utilize 10-15% of what the program can actually do and that right there is worth the money.

trust me, spend the extra money and get the professsional
program if you need adobe.

agree man, spend the extra bucks for it. the pro version allows you a lot of freedom and accessibility to the files rather than just looking at it on your screeen going "gee, i sure wish i could correct that spelling mistake right here and now"
